Totally misleading. Paid $57 to stand in line with everyone else. This company sends a voucher and calls it a ticket. You stand in line for two hours with your voucher to redeem your ticket which you could have gotten directly from the museum

The ticketing process is difficult. I enjoyed the museum but the Viator process is poor at best. Do better

I didn't realise that I needed a time slot. I had a ticket but the queue for non-time slot visitors was long and static. I don't mind queues if they are moving but it did't. It was very warm that day and opted not to wait as I am not good standing for a long time.

Total scam. The tour seller sells you general tickets that have no specific time or even date. This is despite specifically booking for a particular date on the viator app. The tickets are no better than walking up and getting ‘as available’ tickets directly from the museum. The tour operator, however, charges more than twice the museum’s charge. Even worse, there is no guarantee of entry on a particular day. I enquired with the tour operator via the viator app about reserving a particular time and day. After saying this was possible, when I asked for a particular date and time they went silent. 👎

DON'T BUY the dual D'orsay and L'orangerie ticket. The line up for tickets without entry times is the same line as people without tickets so its completely useless. You may as well not have a ticket. I ended up not using my ticket because the line was so long.

For the unscheduled ENTRY ticket, asking what time I want the ticket in the ordering process is not germane. It took reading the fine print on the actual pdf ticket to realize that it was not a scheduled entry, and if you want you can try to schedule an entry, which, by the time you get the ticket is of course sold out. Definitely book your ticket on the museum website- with a scheduled entry- because when it’s busy, the management of the entry queues is a fiasco IMO, the is no value add from viatour with the unscheduled entry ticket.

This ticket is only to access the museum, not a timed entry. After standing in line in the baking sun to enter for nearly an hour without the line moving, we gave up. Wasted money unless you’re very patient and the weather is cool and cloudy.

Lines are long, so get there early in the morning. Or better yet, buy a time slot. But the museum is soooo worth it.

The ticket still required over 1 hour in line even during shoulder season - not for elderly - after rain and cold we left w/o getting even close

Be prepared to wait in line even with a timed entry ticket. The exhibits were well done and included many famous artists.
