Discover the city's finest art museums and hidden architectural gems
Join us for a unique cultural journey through Buenos Aires as we visit the three most iconic art museums in the city:
• the National Museum of Fine Arts,
• the National Museum of Decorative Arts, and
• the MALBA (Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires).
These museums are all within walking distance, and the path between them winds through some of the city’s most beautiful and underrated areas in Recoleta and Palermo.
As we walk, we’ll explore hidden corners most tourists miss — quiet streets filled with architectural treasures, lush parks, elegant monuments, and local stories that bring the city’s cultural richness to life.
Inside each museum, we’ll focus on a carefully curated selection of highlights, with a special emphasis on Argentine and Latin American art. Expect an eclectic and inspiring experience, guided by someone passionate about the artistic and historical soul of Buenos Aires.

An amazing tour starting at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, where we admired a curated selection of and Argentine artists. We then visited the Museo de Arte Decorativo and the MALBA, each offering unique highlights of art and culture. Walking through Palermo Chico in between felt like exploring an open-air museum of stunning architecture. Our guide Mariano was fascinating — his knowledge and passion made the experience unforgettable.

We began at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, where the Argentine artworks were truly impressive. Afterwards, we explored the Museo de Arte Decorativo and the MALBA, each museum adding its own unique perspective on art and culture. Strolling through Palermo Chico in between was unforgettable — we came across incredible mansions in classical, Art Nouveau, and eclectic styles, almost like walking through a living gallery of architecture. Our guide Mariano tied everything together with his passion and expertise, making the day genuinely special.
