Detailed Itinerary:

10:00 (Approximately): Meet at the entrance of the Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum. The museum complex is a large archaeological site museum based on the original Terracotta Army Museum and the encompassing Mausoleum Site Park.


10:00: Begin the visit to the Terracotta Army pits (Pits 1, 2, and 3). The three pits are arranged in a triangular formation, covering a total area of 22,780 square meters. They contain approximately 7,400 life-sized terracotta figures of warriors and horses.


Lunch: On your own.


13:00: Visit the Bronze Chariots and Horses exhibition at the Lishan Garden section of the mausoleum. These bronze chariots and horses were among the burial objects for Emperor Qinshihuang, symbolizing part of the imperial carriage procession. The driver in the front chariot is standing while driving, while the driver in the rear chariot is seated. These two sets of bronze chariots and horses are also known as the "Crown of Bronze Ware."

Step into the Terracotta Army Museum, a grand window into China’s first imperial dynasty. Start with Pit 1, the largest pit, where thousands of terracotta warriors stand in neat battle formations, their varying expressions and costumes reflecting the diversity of Qin soldiers. Then explore Pit 2 with its mixed military units, including vivid kneeling archers, and Pit 3—the army’s command center with finely crafted elite figurines.
Don’t miss the Bronze Chariot and Horse Museum, where the gilded bronze chariots showcase the Qin Dynasty’s superb casting skills. Wander through the No.9901 and No.0006 Pit halls to see acrobatic figurines and civil official figurines, which differ greatly from the combat-focused warriorswwj.shaanxi.gov.cn.
With tickets covering Lishan Garden and free shuttles, you can also visit the imperial tumulus. Use the multi-language audio guide or join a guided tour to learn about 2024’s latest painted warrior research and other archaeological findings. Book tickets 7 days in advance, and prepare your ID for entry to immerse yourself in the magnificent military and cultural legacy of the Qin Dynasty.
