We have been avid explorers of Myakka River State Park for the better part of two decades and have been operating tours for nearly 5 years so our knowledge and expertise of the park and it's wildlife inhabitants is unmatched! Our guides are also extremely proficient in photography so you will leave with plenty of great photo mementos at no additional cost! Perhaps what makes our experience the most unique is that our top of the line E-bikes allow you to choose how much effort you put into the ride. Put your assist level low and get some exercise or allow the bike to do all the work and see the entire park sweat-free.

What To Expect
Myakka Canopy Walkway
The Myakka Canopy Walkway provides easy access to observe life in the treetops of an oak/palm hammock. As an outdoor laboratory for research and education, it is also a place for discovery and provides an opportunity for visitors to see canopy inhabitants up close. Completed in 2000, this structure is the first public treetop trail in North America. The walkway is suspended 25 feet above the ground and extends 100 feet through the hammock canopy. The taller tower soars 74 feet in the air to present a spectacular view of treetops, wetlands and the prairie/hammock interface. You can look down on eagles, hawks, vultures, and the tops of live oak and sabal palm trees.

You will be greeted by our guides where you'll promptly get a thorough explanation of the electric bicycles and all safety protocols. Then were off to explore Florida's largest State Park! The majestic Myakka river flows through 58 square miles of vast unspoiled wetlands, prairies, hammocks and pinelands, where we’re all but guaranteed to see numerous deer, alligators (at a very safe distance), birds and so much more! If old Florida beauty and nature is more your pace, this is the tour for you!

5.00Very safe and good biking equipment. Excellent training to use them. Definitely recommend wearing the helmet. Many people choose not to and one rider fell and hit her head trying to get on her bike. Derek and Amber were informative, attentive and fun guides.

5.00We had such a great time! Derek was an awesome tour guide, we loved his passion for nature and history. He set a great pace, communicated clearly throughout the tour & provided pictures. He also gave us numerous other recommendations of where to visit and eat. The bikes were well maintained and SO MUCH FUN to ride! 10/10 would recommend!

1.00Based on these fabulous reviews, my husband and I were looking forward to doing this tour. We showed up 15 minutes early for the tour, but no one showed up. We checked with the people at the gate and they said they had not seen the guy come into the park. We waited 20 minutes then tried calling. We left two voicemails with no return call. We waited around for an hour and finally just walked through the park. We never heard back from anyone.

5.00Our guide Derek and his assistants, Kelsey and Ben were top notch. They made sure we were comfortable with the e-bikes before starting out which I appreciated.
