For the nature & outdoor activities loving visitors of Mykonos, as well as the motivated, exercise-driven guests, we offer a circular 6,2km guided hiking tour at the unspoiled northern part of the island. The intriguing part of this tour is that we walk through donkey paths, having therefore the chance to witness the authentic landscapes of the island.
Our pet-friendly and family-friendly walking tour is designed with the part-time hikers in mind, for whom the priority lies in both enjoying the hike, as well as the breath-taking views at a relaxed pace, the photo shooting, the swimming and the storytelling.
Whilst the focus is on walking and discovering the hidden gems of Mykonos, there is ample time to swim or sunbathe at Merchia beach, have a small picnic with homemade lemonade and traditional dessert and appreciate the local knowledge shared by the walking guides.
At the end of the hike you can even soak up the ambience and hospitality at the historic vineyard Mykonos Vioma

What To Expect
Merchia Beach
During the hike we will be walking at donkey paths among golden pastureland and dry stone walls, manifesting the typical rural landscape of Mykonos. We will also visit a traditional Mykonian church, which will offer the perfect setting for our religious heritage interpretation. When we reach Merchia, the beach will mesmerize you with its wild, untouched beauty. Weather permitting us to dive, you can enjoy a swim, as well as instagrammable underwater photos, shot by your hiking guide. Sunbathing is another option or playing with the waves. During our beach break we will offer you our famous organic homemade lemonade and a traditional dessert of Mykonos, before starting our gentle climb up the hill.
Mykonos Vioma Organic Farm
Our walking tour ends at the historic monastery vineyard of Ano Mera, Mykonos Vioma Organic Farm. There you can rest among the vines and enjoy the company of the farm animals or even, optionally, stay longer in order to enjoy a house wines tasting combined with a vineyard tour (extra charges apply by the Mykonos Vioma business, if you want to have a wines and local products tasting).

Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt comfortable throughout. The highlight was definitely ending the hike with a cozy picnic right on the beach — the food was fresh and delicious, and the setting couldn’t have been more peaceful. 5.00We arrived on Mykonos on a cruise ship and we booked this tour directly with Yummy Pedals, instead of joining an expensive and crowded shore excursion organized sold in the ship. We were rewarded with the best day of our trip! The 4 miles hike was not difficult with stops at some points of interest, where our guide gave us insights about the life on Mykonos. Halfway we stopped at an almost empty beach where we had time to cool off in the crystal clear sea. What a day!

Dimitra is a wonderful and very knowledgeable guide and took us to an almost empty hidden beach following paths through the Mykonian countryside. On the way she shared stories and her passion for her island. If you travel to Mykonos don't miss this tour!

5.00This was the best part of our 5 day trip to Mykonos. We had a private "AEGAN TASTES" hiking tour. We walked a beautifully planned hike with Dimitris - and he knows so much about the history and landscape, he gave us a lot of information on it all including the culture - which we loved. At the end of the hike we ended up at a beautiful crystal clear water beach which had no crowd there at all so it felt completely private. Its a hidden area so its nice. Then he served us amazing homemade, farm to table food, greek salad, cheeses, sundried tomatoes, honey, yogurt, vine leaves with rice, and much more, the most popular is the famous secret recipe LEMONADE which is perfect after the hike and swim. He also takes photos throughout the whole hike, and swim. Underwater photos are great. Then after the hike he takes us back to the farm in his car, and we added an hour of E-bike tour. We loved that as well, definetly recommend it. The trail is amazing, e-bikes are easy to ride. So much FUN! Great exercise. I love that you can customize your experience to what you want to do. Reach out t o them and you will be glad that you dove deep into the culture of local Mykonianas, makes the trip worthy!
