This was an incredibly cool experience! The materials were really professional and elaborate, and the clues were just hard enough to keep us guessing and make us feel accomplished when we figured them out. It took us about 3 fun hours to complete. Well worth the price; highly recommended!

Such a fun afternoon solving the clues. My kids loved helping out with the puzzles. A great activity to help you explore Antigua and learn some of its history too. I would definitely recommend doing this in your first couple of days in the town it will really help you to get your bearings.

We had a great time on this tour. This takes you to the areas right around all the interesting things you want to see in Antigua. If you want to see the sights, solve some puzzles, and learn the history of the area, this is for you. It took us 4.5 hours to finish the hunt, but we stopped for coffee, cake, and local food. We also stopped and toured some places we passed and visited local vendors. You could absolutely complete this in 2.5 hours if you focus, but we wanted to spend the day looking around. The props are fun, the puzzles are challenging and we met a lot of friendly locals along the way. It is a lot of walking on cobblestone streets, so wear good walking shoes. If you have a day in Antigua and want to see what's what with the flexibility of going at your own pace, I highly recommend the Mysteries of Antigua.

I’m so glad I did Xplore Antigua’s treasure hunt because it took me to places in the city that I never would have discovered on my own and I had a great time with my friends. I think this activity is a dream come true for people like me who love The Amazing Race, The Da Vinci Code, escape rooms, or any kind of clue-based, place-based mystery adventure. The puzzles and challenges were incredibly well designed, interactive, and engaging. You can feel how much thought and passion the creators put into the crafting it. TL;DR: if you’re visiting Antigua, Guatemala, do Xplore Antigua’s scavenger hunt on day 1. It gives you such a great foundation for understanding the city. My friends and I ended up going back and spending more time in most of the locations from the scavenger hunt, and we learned a lot, so it’s definitely worth it to do before you go off on your own.

The writeup sounded too good to be true, but this really was far and away the best way to explore Antigua we could have imagined. It's an extremely well-designed self-guided outdoor "escape-room" style adventure that explores the old town. Great puzzles--none too easy, but all solvable with a little thought, and no time pressure! Can't imagine a better way of exploring Antigua!

Ancient Xplore offered me a very fun and original way to explore the historic center of Antigua. You will travel the city solving puzzles and learning about its history. A very entertaining way to spend a couple of hours. Many thanks to Mrs. Jenny for her excellent recommendations during my stay in Antigua.

This treasure hunt is such a creative and fun way to experience Antigua! It’s a great way to see some of the city’s main landmarks while discovering a few hidden gems. The clues are clever without being too hard, so anyone can enjoy it. If you like puzzles and problem-solving then I really cannot recommend this enough.

Wow!! Super fun! I went with my friend and we finished in around two hours! I didn't expect it to be as engaging as it was. You have 8 different stops around the city and have to crack clues to get there. It's a great way to get into different parts of the city. Some of the stops are harder than others, and you have to really think like a detective. It's my perfect idea of fun: great for a group, engaging, informative, and outside! We also learned so much more about the history of Antigua and the legends of the city. I think this is a fantastic new offering in the city's tourism landscape. Get outside, get some steps in, use your brain, and have some great laughs with friends along the way. 10/10 experience. My only question is, when are you releasing the next one?!

This was such a fun way to explore the centre of Antigua whilst keeping the kids (aged 6 and 9) entertained at the same time! It’s a self guided tour and scavenger hunt with escape room style puzzles all rolled in to one. Lucia explained everything really clearly before we got started and the resources and puzzles we needed were excellent! It was really well pitched so that it was still a challenge for the adults but there were loads of parts the kids could help with too - we loved it! It took us about 3 hours to complete (it’s not that far to walk but we stopped for a drink and a snack in a cafe and also went to the souvenir market for a while). Would definitely recommend to families looking for a novel way to spend a few hours in Antigua!
