5.00Hector and Jairo did a great job in the three activities I booked with Jairo Nature Tours. In the morning canal tour we saw heron, two Caiman, iguanas, and a nice variety of other birds. It was raining quite a lot for most of the tour, but after the rain the birds seemed to come out more. We also saw a snake that seemed to dance up out of the water a couple of times and then disappeared. The flowers, trees and plants are so amazing and so varied. In the very wet afternoon hike, my shoes were submerged in water several times, but I was still comfortably warm because it’s never cold. We saw red poison frogs, lizards, termites nests, remains of a turtle that a jaguar had killed, jaguar prints on the beach, more birds, monkeys, crabs, and a 6-8” turtle. The night hike was especially fun. Jairo speaks English extremely well and is very personable. He found some really cute red eyed leaf frogs, a couple basilisk lizards, a snake, a glow in the dark spider, some rhino grasshoppers, and a baby sloth! Very rare and fun! I totally recommend one or more tours with Jairo Nature Tours! They are professional and licensed, knowledgeable and can spot the creatures you may miss on your own!

5.00Jairo gave us very good explanations. He had good knowledge of the area and nature. Nice with everyone. We made the visit in Spanish, but it also has good English.

5.00We did a whole day with Jairo with the discovery of the canals in the morning by canoe from 6am to 9am during which we discovered caimens of turtle sloths and a multitude of birds. In the afternoon the Jaguar Tours in the park was also very rich with the view of Tucans, traces of jaguar, monkey sloths and also the discovery of medicinal plants, the explanation of turtle migration etc... In the evening 2 hours of night visit with the program of spiders, a boa of locusts the famous green frog and many species noctures. In short with him you will take full eyes! He is a passionate person who left his job to devote his life to discovering nature! 200% recommendation! Fred pat and paloma

5.00Jairo was great, very informative kayak tour and night tour. The national park tour with tour guide Arturo was just as great. Pretty much saw all the animals you can imagine including monkeys, birds, lizards, caiman, rodents, snakes, sloths, turtle, ants, and plenty of plants.

5.00We had our best day in Costa Rica thanks to Jairo! We first booked a canoe trip with him to Tortuguero and we were so satisfied that we also decided to book a night trip with him. Both were amazing! Jairo knows Costa Rica, Tortuguero and its wildlife very well. We saw turtles, beautiful birds, frogs, snakes, sloths, spiders and a toucan, among others. Jairo is an honest and certified guide (licensee) who has made these excursions truly unique. We recommend it without hesitation!

In addition, he has a very charming personality and we instantly felt at home on his boat. Thanks for a fun early morning tour! We'll never forget it!
