  If you have a limited amount of time and want to learn about the history of Crete, book this tour. Christina was one of the best tour guides we have ever had. She was very knowledgeable, but also very thoughtful about what we were looking for from the tour. She was also very friendly and we all enjoyed spending the day with her. Between the places we visited and the information she provided we all came away from the day feeling like we had a much better understanding of Crete and the ancient Minoan civilization.

  Fotini our guide was great. Very interesting narration, plesant voice and loaded with facts and of course, Greek myths. A real pleasure. Sadly the Cave of Zeus was not open due to renovation activity but we went to a smaller cave with significant history. The archeological site visited was very nice and had some good stories as well, in particular, ghe oldest paved road in Europe. Nice family style lunch in a typical Cretan seaside town. Great outing if you want a road trip in Crete.

  Our guide Fotini was superb. She was punctual and professional. She shared tons of interesting information and kept the day quite interesting. Sadly, the cave of Zeus was closed for renovation, but we visited another interesting cave and a terrific archeological site. Stopped in another small seaside town for a great family style meal. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to venture out on a road trip in Crete.

  We had a lovely day with Gesthemane and Stephanos. Our guide Gesthemane was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Stephanos was very experienced driver. We were able to see a lot on a day trip and felt very welcome and cared for while learning about Crete's history, culture, and the sites we were seeing on the tour.   Our driver Paul and a guide Gifsimani were amazing. They are super knowledgeable and professional. Cave of Zeus was closed so they modified our itinerary to fit our interests. We had the best time!

  It was unforgettable experience. The sights were amazing. Tour operator emailed me the name and phone number of the tour guide. Tour guide was very knowledgeable in Greek history and mythology. The driver was very nice and experienced. They arrived on time wearing name tags. I would highly recommend rhis tour and this tour company. .

  It was unforgettable experience. Tour operator messaged us the day before and provided with name and phone number of the tour guide. They picked us from the hotel on time. Tour guide Popi was very knowledgeable in history of Crete and Greece. She explained things on the way and during sightseens. The tour was talored to our needs and abilities. The driver was very experienced and nice. We were treated with the plate of local fruits and desserts during the stop. The sights were amazing. I would strongly recommend this tour.

  My family and I booked a tour with Snami travel for a mythical tour of Crete. Our tour guide was Alex and we had Aristotle as our driver Our driver was very warm and friendly. He did not speak much English but there was always a smile on his face and he was always happy to help or invite us to have some of his raki. I spent 4 days in Crete and drank way too much raki. The interesting thing is the drivers home made raki was probably the best raki I’ve had. The smell is a lot stronger than it is. After each shot you feel a warmth but there is absolutely no hangover or headache! Alex is such an amazing story teller. He was very fun, engaging, and thoughtful throughout the whole trip. Our family composed of 9 individuals whom ages ranged from 22 months to 70 years old. He made sure that everyone was happy, engaged, and comfortable throughout the whole trip. We learned about about the North and west side of Crete on our first day. We enjoyed his guidance so much that I asked if I could book another tour with Alex and our driver. Alex did a custom tour for us for the southern part of Crete. After spending two full days with Alex and Aristotle, I learned so much about the culture of Crete that I would not be able to find elsewhere. Crete is a beautiful island that can itself be its own country. Its history and culture is so unique and rich. The strategic location of Crete made it a blessing and a curse for how much triumph and conquers there has been. You can appreciate its history through the taste of their food. They have traditionally Greek food (meats/seafood with lots of oregano and thyme) yet with Turkish influences (cloves). The uniqueness of their cheese (made with goat). The romantic and beautiful scenary. The crazy myths that can be told of every rock formation. The charm of having a church in the middle of a gorge on a mountain. A island where you have the Mediterranean and the African weather. You will only find this in Crete. Alex showed me all of this. You won’t regret booking with Snami and having them shown you true Cretan hospitality and beauty that you and I would not be able to find on our own. Thank you for the wonderful trip

  We had wonderful day and the 3 children were engaged and interested the whole Time. Our guide was wonderful and knowledgeable and so kind when we had a medical situation which required extra time and attention. They went out of their way to make sure we didn’t miss anything despite an unavoidable delay. The private lunch was wonderful and the best food we had on our entire stay in Crete. We loved it
