Dream Tours Japan was born out of the idea of giving people the feeling of being connected with the destination in every facet of the tour. Whether it be from the on board commentary, insights into daily Japanese life, historical and important information of each attraction, cultural experiences, Japanese food and Sake tastings as well as personal opinions and facts about what it is truly life to live as an expat in this weird and wonderful country we call Japan.

It is my belief that only a private tour consisting of a small numbers of members can create this important connection that will stay with us for the rest of our lives!

On this tour we are able to visit 8 to 10 unique sites and spend as much time as required to throughly enjoy the experience. You will see so much more than an organized large group shore excursion, leaving one extremely satisfied at days end.

This tour has been specifically set up for Shore Excursions and can be customized for earlier pick ups and drop offs.

Toyota Estima: A luxury minivan that seats 6 people comfortably but can seat 5 adults and 2 children as well.
Vehicle Specs: Oversized/ limited mobility groups will be encouraged to upgrade to the more spacious Toyota Hiace Van.

We had a great day with Shannon - in the rain! He is so knowledgeable about the area, the Japanese customs and history. He takes you to several points of interest that most tourists would not see and we loved the entire day. Highly recommend this tour

When you arrive in a new city you have no idea what makes that city tick. This tour takes you on a journey and shows you that Nagasaki has a somber past, but also an incredible soul of resilience, and a future in the hands of some hard working young people. We, my teenage son and partner, thoroughly enjoyed our day with Shannon. Life is a journey, and this one is worth taking.

Shannon is an incredible tour guide. But more importantly, he put together an amazing tour. We took two locals from Nagasaki and they both said they had never heard, nor been to, many of the things we visited. Shannon is a pro and he is extremely knowledgeable about the Japanese culture, the food, the language, and the history, and the architecture. There was some really fun parts, sad parts, thought provoking parts, and even some spiritual aspects. If you book a tour with Shannon everyone in your group is going to feel like they had their needs met. There is something for everyone. Also, Shannon will 100% go the extra mile and spend way more time with you than the tour requires if your geoup needs it.

We had a great tour with Shannon in Nagasaki. We saw all the WWII historical sites, including a few sites not found on other tours. He took us to the Sohonzan Shrine which was greatly appreciated as it was a very peaceful and quiet area away from the city. The Sake Brewery was a unique experience. We enjoyed the tasty castellia cake and the juicy strawberries. Our day ended at the Mount Insasa Lookout with great nighttime views of Nagasaki. We would give Shannon more than 5 stars if possible.

Our tour guide Shannon did an awesome job giving us a full tour of Nagasaki in the limited time we had that day. From the historical War Museum to the actual radio towers used to start the Pearl Harbor invasion. We had a peaceful picnic lunch at the temple and finished with great views atop the highest point in Nagasaki. Shannon's historical knowledge cannot be surpassed
