Incredible experience start to finish. Kelvin is super friendly and knowledgeable about wildlife. His expert knowledge of the park meant I was able to see a wide variety of wildlife including Zebras, Lions, Rhinos, Hippos and more. The stop at the elephant sanctuary is a must where you can see 15 rescued baby elephants. Highly recommend Kelvin for this tour, he did everything he could to make sure I got some great views and pictures.

Had an amazing experience! We saw lions, rhinos, giraffes, zebras and many more. Kelvin was a very knowledgeable, professional and friendly guide. He told us about all the wildlife and made sure we got the right angles for the best pictures. He also got us to the elephant orphanage in time to get a really good spot at the front. Can’t recommend Rustic Nature Tours enough!

I was very happy with the tour. Our guide Douglas was friendly, knowledgeable, prompt, and very helpful. The tour was even better than I hoped it would be. We saw a wide variety of animals, and ended with 4 lions trying to get a baby rhino away from its mother. (They didn’t succeed!). I highly recommend this tour and our guide, Douglas.

We had such an amazing day! Kelvin was on time, kind and extremely knowledgeable. He did a great job trying to get us the best views of animals across the park. We mentioned that one person in our group was interested in birds and he taught us many new species. It’s hard to think how the day could have been better. Thanks so much, Kelvin!

Wow! What an incredible trip, and most definitely the best safari that my wife and I have ever taken. I don't say this lightly, and we have travelled extensively throughout Africa. Joel is a tremendous guide with extensive knowledge of wildlife. We told him what we'd really like to see and he did everything possible to deliver! We have been trying to see serval cat for so many years, and as soon as we entered Nairobi National Park, one popped up in the dawn grassland and walked towards our vehicle!! A once in a lifetime wildlife experience and an absolute highlight of years of natural encounters. And we had the experience all to ourselves!! We went on to see over 10 rhinos, both black and white, incredible! The amount of mammals Joel managed to locate was unbelievable, varying from slender mongoose, through all the various antelopes one could imagine, to giraffe zebra, hippo, buffalo, you name it, Joel found it! My wife and I are also extremely keen birders, and Joel is most knowledgeable on all species. We were lucky to connect with local rarities and had very close views of black crake. So many raptors too, including black winged kite, brown snake eagle and eastern chanting goshawk! My wife really enjoyed getting close-up shots of purple grenadiers. We were really pleasantly surprised by the duration of the national park part of the tour at over 4 hours, which really allowed us to seek out the most wanted species. It is worth pointing out that Joel is a safe and considerate driver, which on the busy roads of Nairobi is extremely welcome for peace of mind! Following our national park safari, we went to the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, and Joel was quick to ensure that we had the ultimate views! What an incredible place to visit, and we highly recommend that everyone does go, and ideally with Joel! We had a welcome tea/coffee stop and finished our tour at Kobe Beads and Leather...another incredible place and we felt privileged to be able to watch the women at work creating such amazing pieces. Joel dropped us back at our accommodation and I only wish we had been aware of him earlier on our holiday as we would have undoubtedly used his skills for other adventures! Indeed, we are already looking at checking out Samburu with him next year! Thanks so much Joel, you are a star! 🌟

Had a wonderful trip to the wildlife park and the elephant orphanage. Calvin managed to locate lions, which I really wanted to see, as well as rhinos and many other iconic animals. At the orphanage he secured a perfect spot among quite a big crowd. He also was very helpful with craft buying. And we had a fascinating conversation and UK/ Kenya politics. I would recommend Calvin very highly indeed.

I approached Nairobie national Park with scepticism given its close proximity to a major city. Within 10 minutes of arriving we had already seen hippos, ostriches, rhinos and a variety of other wildlife. Our driver Kelvin was super passionate about the wildlife and his job as a guide and shared a wealth of information with us. The stark contrast of city vs wilderness was amazing but this national park is truly a hidden gem. By the end of the day we had seen 4 of the big 5. If you have limited time for a prolonged safari then Nairobi national Park will get the job done.

Had the best time with our guide Kelvin, he let us decide what to do and leave whenever we want. Elephant Orphan Sanctuary was an incredible experience and Kelvin made sure we had the best spot to watch them play around. Also at the Giraffe Center we were first row and Kelvin made sure, we had enough food to feed them 😊 Highly recommend!
