After the fortress, we will drive through the old Village of Nakhal to the hot springs. Here you will find a beautiful small green Wadi. The small river in the Wadi has hot spring water, in which you can bathe your feet in. You will see lots of locals here, who come to have a walk in the warm river water, then next stop to Wadi Bani Awf offers some of the best off-road driving you experience in Oman – with beautiful scenery and stunning cliffs and canyons throughout. The route connects several villages, including the scenic Bilad Sayt village, is a stunning village in picturesque surroundings that should be part of anyone’s checklist of places to visit when coming to Oman.

Leaving Muscat in the morning, then continue towards to the famous Nakhal fortress, it lies at the foothills of the mountains in a nice small village which grows extensive date palm plantations. This magnificent 350 years old fortress rises out of the mountain rock, towering high above the ancient village as if still warning would-be attackers of its ominous strength It has witnessed many battles and is packed full of hidden escape routes and secret passages.

Great tour of a historical fort and hot spring. Fort Nakhal is a must visit fort with lots of history and scenic vantage points to take picture of the nature of Nakhal. After the fort we visited Al Ain Thoworah (Nakhal Hotspring). The luke warm water that was perfect to go for a quick dip in. It was also nice to learn how the hotspring generates its natural heat. At my request, we made a slight change to the tour and visited Wakan instead. We drove up a scenic mountain then climbed up 700 steps. Wow, every step was well worth it for the views of the Nakhal nature and palm trees, pomegranate trees. Thank you so much landscape for such a great tour and being flexible to change the plan at my request. Much appreciation must also go to the tour guide Fawzi for his warm nature, jovial attitude and the facts about each location he had.

Great trip with Abdulmajeed. Very nice driver and great landscapes, we really enjoyed it. The village on the mountain was really worth a trip. We also learned a lot about the country and had a great time. I can highly recommend the tour

Adventure time! We had a full day trip visiting the Nakhal Fort & Hotspring, Wadi Bani Awf and Bilad Sayt. The road is a bit challenging but it's worth it. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and Landscape. Khalil is a safe driver and he make sure we are comfortable. Thank You, highly Recommended.

I had a full day tour with Majid visit the Nakhal fort, hot springs wadi Bani awf and bilad sayt. The road was a bit challenging but it's worth it. The landscape and the views was beautiful. Thank Majid, highly recommended him and Oman Landscape Tours.
