Amazing experience! Our guide at Pompei was extremely knowledgeable of the history and took us through streets that most tours don’t see. The lunch provided was basic but very good. The weather wasn’t cooperating at Mt Vesuvius but still amazing views of the crater with the clouds. As an extra bonus the tour guide took us Vesuvius winery where we tasted wine, olive oil, and local honey.

It was great. Lots of walking, the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about Pompeii. We also had a very nice lunch and saw the beautiful views of Naples because we were unable to go to Mt V. due to it being closed.

This was an amazing tour. Due to the wild fires we were not able to go up to the top of Mt Vesuvius, but the company made us aware of the change well ahead of time and substituted with a driving tour of Naples. The port exit where we met our driver is insane with all the people so be patient and look for your driver and the logo on their papers, they are probably there even if you don’t see them. Our driver (Giuseppe S) was amazingly kind and knowledgeable about so many different things all around the city. Our tour of Pompeii was amazing. The city is so much bigger than I ever imagined so if you are a wanderer, I recommend doing an audio tour on your own. But, our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and easily navigated us to highlights while avoiding crowd as much as possible. The lunch was a delicious 3 course meal right off the ruins a short distance from where we ended our tour. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was fantastic. After our lunch Giuseppe took us back to Naples and drove us all over the city seeing many of the highlights and some of the hidden gem views from the top of the city. Traffic here is crazy and never once did I not feel unsafe. After a quick snack, he got us back to the port with about an hour and a half to spare, plenty of time for some more photo ops by the port and back on the ship.

This was a great tour. The guides were amazing. Even though we didn’t get to go to Mt. Vesuvius they more than made up for it. The tour guide inside of Pompeii was super. He was very respectful of the younger audience and was still able to show us everything. It was a definite must to have a guide without one we would have been overwhelmed and lost. This place is huge.

This was a great trip with Mery leading the way—picking us up at the port and bussing us around all while telling us all about Naples and Mt. Vesuvius. Her communication before and during the day were amazing. She even gave us wristbands with her phone number should we need it—we never did as she kept tabs on us. Ines was our guide around Pompei and did an amazing job of bringing it to life for us and our kids. The excursion also included lunch was amazing—great local food with a lot of variety and a picturesque view. And we even hiked up to see Mt Vesuvius still smoking. This was the perfect excursion for our family, and we packed in as much as possible for the day.
