We booked this experience as part of a social events and activity calendar for international students studying at The University of Newcastle. David, Elena and Nicole from Showtime are fantastic to deal with and provide a truly unique experience. Students loved the opportunity to get out on the lake at night and see the marine life sparkle under the glow of the LED kayaks. The pizza dinner on the sand islands and the beach bonfire and marshmallows cap off an unforgettable night.

Excellent family fun. Locals with an international friend visiting. Easy, fun, staff Ally and Kirralee were so helpful and knowledgeable. We did it with three generations and it was fun for everyone. They were very reassuring to my parents. Lots of marine life, bonus star gazing which is amazing. Thank you so much.

On 1/5/2026 we did the one hour night kayak tour. Tour was excellent with our 2 helpful and friendly guides. Main guide ELL was very knowledgeable about the local area, its history and what we were expecting to see. Kayaks were comfortable and looked great on the water when lit up. We found the lighting a bit distracting from viewing the sea life with the many colour changes but tour was otherwise great. Suggest a two hour tour would be far better than one hour as the time goes so quickly. Overall a great experience.

The experience was fantastic...very professional in terms of safety and equipment, but also very user friendly and fun ! Pat and Dan were the best guides, ensuring that we had a very good induction, and a informative and interesting educational adventure all whilst having the best fun. We saw lots of wildlife over the 2 hour trip, including stingrays, huge puffer fish and an octopus! The guys were excellent in finding all manner of creatures. With tours having limited numbers it felt very intimate and personal. A great activity for everyone of any age and any ability. and that is great value for money. Fully recommend !
