Ontario was very knowledgeable and question friendly the entire tour. He even offered us cold water so that we would not be dehydrated. This tour was 10 out of 10 and I would recommend !

Our guide Steven was amazing. His knowledge of Nassau; its culture, his people, heritage & history left us in awe. He was so polite & courteous to my sister & myself. We might walk a bit slower but never felt rushed. I would highly recommend Steven if you want an amazing experience touring Nassau then he is your man. The chocolate was amazing & so was the rum! I still want to do the Victoria steps!!

Stephen met us exactly when he said he would as well as where he said he would. We started out and he grabbed three bottles of water for us. He was very knowledgeable of Nassau. Telling us the history as well as the varieties of trees, fruit and flowers. We asked Stephen where we could find local conch and he led us to a local restaurant that was delicious! Stephen was nice to look at as well. My daughter thought so too.

We booked the Nassau Historical Walking Tour while on a cruise stop and were disappointed with how the tour was conducted. A large part of the tour was spent being led into gift shops and stores for shopping. These stops felt forced and took up a substantial amount of time that should have been dedicated to the historical sites. My wife had done a similar historical walking tour in Nassau on a previous cruise and it had zero shopping stops — it was purely focused on the history and sights. This made the difference very noticeable. The low point was at the Queen’s Staircase. When I asked about the square recesses carved into the walls, our guide incorrectly told the group they were natural formations. In reality, they were deliberately carved as memorials to the enslaved Bahamians who built the staircase. This was a missed opportunity to share an important and interesting part of the story. While we did see some of Nassau’s historic areas, the overall experience felt more like a shopping excursion than a proper historical tour. We left knowing less than we expected. I cannot recommend this tour. If you’re looking for a genuine historical walking tour in Nassau, there are clearly better options available.

Doreen was great, shared history of the Bahamas intermixed with her humorous perspective. The tour took us through a poor area where we encountered homeless people sleeping in doorways and a pack of wild dogs. It was a bit unsettling. Such a contrast from the luxury of the Atlantis Resort just a few miles away. We walked past Princess Margaret hospital, visited The Queen’s Staircase and Parliament Square. It was an easy walk about an hour’s time
