What To Expect
The Bahamas Rum Cake Factory
Begin the tour with driving through the historic city of Nassau with the first stop (approximately 15 minutes) at the Bahamas Rum Cake Factory. The factory produces several scrumptious flavors of rum cake like, pina colada, banana and chocolate. Free samples available at this stop.
Queen's Staircase
The Queen's Staircase was Carved out of solid limestone in the late 18th century, this 102-foot staircase is a must-see attraction. Climb the 65 steps to the top of Bennet's Hill the highest point in Nassau and access Fort Fincastle built in 1793 by Lord Dunmore. Guests not able to climb the staircase can stay on board and be driven to the top. At the top you will find a mini market with authentic handmade goods at bargain prices.

5.00We truly enjoyed our excursion! We had an adult, a kid and a senior and everyone enjoyed themselves! So many favorite parts I can't name just 1! The rum cakes were delicious, the chocolate factory had amazing chocolate and shakes, and the distillery also had a delicious pina colada! Truly enjoyed learning the history of the Bahamas! Karon was super knowledgeable and entertaining- he was great! Definitely recommended!

5.00Tyrone may just be one of the best excursion tour guides our group has ever had. A clear Nassau local, he whisked our small group away to all the best places on the island, including tourist hotspots, a rum distillery, time at Atlantis, and places off the beaten path, like visiting a rum cake factory and trying fresh conch from a local food spot ("Unda-Da-Bridge"). His charm, knowledge of the island, and generosity did NOT go unnoticed (he constantly made sure the group was well taken care of, whether that was buying us wine cooler drinks, accommodating food allergies, or offering us a "taste" of some authentic Nassau rum). If you want a local's tour of the island of Nassau, THIS is the one to take. Thank you, Tyrone!!

5.00Nicki was the best tour guide you could have. We were able to get a few rum cakes, were able to tour the chocolate factory and taste the chocolate. We went to the distillery where we had conch fritters and a nice drink. The Queen's stair case was amazing. The pirates museum was fun. We really enjoyed this tour. Thank you Nicki

5.00Karon (Tyron's son) was our guide and we had a blast. He gave us great historical stories as well as how it is today. We got to visit the main highlights of the rum cake factory (yum), Graycliff chocolates and cigars (so cool) as well as john waiting distillery, the Queens steps and pirate museum. Karon was an amazing host providing shots, conch fritters and chocolates as well as all of his local knowledge. We truly enjoyed our day with him as we filled our bellies with great food and drink but also filled our curiosity with lots of local stories and history. Can't say enough good things. If you only have the chance to take one tour, this is it!
