I didn't know what to expect from the tour but I was excited to see some art from this part of the world. Iana was a great tour guild and was extremely passionate about the art that was on display in the art museum. Ask for additional information following the tour. Very knowledgeable about art and designs in the area.

Iana is the kind of guide who makes art feel human. Her storytelling is warm and simple, and she connects museum masterpieces to everyday life in Bucharest. A truly memorable experience.

Housed in the former Royal Palace, this museum has a quiet grandeur. It’s a place where time slows down and you’re invited to look closely. The medieval rooms are meditative, while the 19th and 20th century sections reveal a dynamic, evolving Romanian voice in art. After many busy museums across Europe, this one felt personal and almost poetic.

A quiet and elegant museum, perfect for an unhurried afternoon. The Romanian art galleries are truly impressive – it’s like walking through the country’s visual history. From medieval icons to modern masters, there’s so much to see and learn. The museum is well-organized and not too crowded, which makes the visit really enjoyable.

We were pleasantly surprised to find the museum quite empty – the tour ended up being just for me and my husband, which created a very intimate and personal atmosphere. Our guide, Iana, captivated us with clever analogies and amusing stories that made the art easy to understand and remember. More than anything, what stayed with us was the overall feeling she created: a mix of calm, curiosity, and genuine human connection. Truly an unforgettable experience

Iana guided us through Romanian art starting from the 1930s. The tour was interactive, fun, and friendly. We were a small group of 4 people, which made the experience feel intimate. The atmosphere in the museum was calm and peaceful — something we rarely find in museums across Europe or the United States.
