We Went on the above day trip with Jeff and had the BEST day! This was a trip our travel agent threw at us that was not our plan, and it turned out to be one of our Favorite things. Firstly Jeff was outstanding, his knowledge of the area and the well he conducted himself - 5 stars! We wanted to say thank you for the Mustard tip, you were right it's amazing! We brought some that afternoon and managed to import it back into Australia!

Mari was an awesome tour guide hiking through the woods. She was very knowledgeable about the forest and explained the information in an easily understandable way. The saunas at the end were amazing and the ice plunge after is a must do for anyone who goes during the winter.

Alex was wonderful. We went on a Monday so it was relatively quiet. The walk in the forest was very relaxing and we heard a lot about Finnish food and traditions. The sauna and cold plunging was so refreshing, we all left feeling energized. It was the highlight of our trip to Helsinki !

Highly Recommend this tour/hike, as our Guide Alex was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and providing great narrative throughout our hike and cooked up an amazing lunch. The traditional Smoke Sauna and plunge into the freezing lack between sessions was definitely an experience that is a must have when visiting Finland.

For our family outing from Helsinki, we went on this hike/lunch/sauna/jump in the lake. We had an awesome tour guide, Jeff. He was such a fun guide, happy, good stories (especially about sauna competition). We loved his cheerfulness. Good explanations about mushrooms in the forest, which he sautéed up for our lunch. Thank you. This was a highlight of our 10-day stay in Helsinki.

What a great day! Beautiful walk through the forest, learning about foraging mushrooms and berries, birds, and plants. Beautiful setting and great guide Jeff. The lunch after the nature walk was fantastic. Then, we enjoyed the wooed fired saunas right by the lake where we cooled off in between our sauna sessions. Learned a lot and have a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend!
