  Unreal, out of a movie experience! Elia made this an incredible tour of scenic and local Switzerland amazing. It is certainly the locals experience, we went to small villages, remote roads in the alps to hang with the cows, purchased cheese on the honor system out of a farmers box in the mountains, and ate local at a restaurant in a remote village.. really cool unique stuff. Elia was ultra polite and allowed us to customize anything we needed about the journey, although we trusted him for 99.99 % of all activities - he was an awesome guide. If you are looking for something private and personal, an exclusive way to see Switzerland, this is it.

  While the beauty of Switzerland is stunning enough on its on, you will not truly experience its wonder until you hire an experienced local guide to delve you and your group deep into it’s natural beauty. Private Tours Switzerland is a must! From my first of many pre-trip discussions with Joshua, he detailed tours to fit our group and gave insights to make the most of our time in touring Switzerland’s beautiful countryside. Joshua not only promised inspiring tours but also delivered top notch tour guides! The views were breathtaking but our tour guides, Manuel & Fabian, enhanced the experience with their knowledge, charismatic personalities, flexibility, local stories, and culinary outdoor skills. It was always a highlight of the day to have freshly prepared snacks/lunch including a traditional raclette and fondue experience in the wild nature. Fabian and his wife even provided fresh produce from their farm for us to enjoy on our tours! In addition, Manuel was quite the grill expert! On our last day, Manuel grilled a variety of delicious meats, while our group leisurely enjoyed the lake and its surroundings. Manuel and Fabian effortlessly connected with the energy of our group and tailored each day of our trip to our interests, pace, and specific preferences, creating a truly unique experience. Highly recommend exploring Switzerland with Manuel & Fabian!

  This was a great experience. The first 4 hours of the trip, up until the waterfall hike were FANTASTIC. Sights we would have never seen. Nicole was amazing. After the 4 hour mark, the stops were not as exciting and we were now 1.5 hours from our hotel. If we were staying in Lucerne, it wouldn't have been as long of a ride home. We would have never seen some of the areas we saw on this hike. My recommendation to the tour operator would be to shorten to 4-5 hours. Or have a short and long version where you see the lake and waterfall we saw (which were great but far away) Nicole our operator was amazing. She gave us so much history on Zurich and we loved her!!

  The guide, Marc was incredible. Tailored our day to fit what we wanted. Couldn’t have been better. He even had a picnic lunch loaded for us that was very personable.

  Manuel was a great tour guide, totally flexible with the tour itinerary, a comfortable tour in a roomy Merc mini van, he took us to several amazing hidden sight seeing places high up in the Swiss Alps, including a waterfall, the highest point was at 2000meters, incredible sights at every turn. A delicious lunch prepared by Manuel and then return to Lucerne for a swim in the Lake, then drop us to our hotel. The tour exceeded our expectations, it was the best tour we have been on so far whilst touring through Europe.

  Standing behind a waterfall as it drowns out all other sounds with its amazingly loud sound, being surrounded by lush green landscape with cows ringing their bells and seeing snow on the mountains as you overlook a lake with pristine blueish green water were just a few highlights on this once in a lifetime experience. Achim was an excellent guide. He showed us so many gems and his favorite places while also keeping us well fed with an amazing lunch spread with waterfall views. Just gorgeous is how I explain Switzerland and this is thanks to Achim. I think it’s my favorite place I’ve ever visited.

  Achim was so passionate about it and led the tour in a wonderful way. I was able to see many new places in Switzerland. Even though the weather wasn't quite on our side, it was still a lot of fun. We'd be happy to do it again any time.

• The best way to spend your time and money in Lucerne

  We had a short stay in Lucerne and wanted to make the most of our time there, to see as much of the beautiful surroundings as possible ... away from a million other tourists. The tour with Joshua was *perfect*, and so much more than we could've expected. He was the friendliest, most knowledgeable, and thoughtful guide. from start to finish. First off, he's very professional and well-prepared. True to being Swiss, he was super punctual for pick up and drop off; it's also worth noting that he arrived in an immaculate new Mercedes van and had water bottles and chocolate bunnies waiting for us inside (it was Easter). He tailored the itinerary to include anything of special interest to us and was also able to adjust it based on last-minute weather changes -- without compromising any of the experience. For example, he had been watching the weather conditions at Mt. Pilatus (which had closed the day before due to high winds) and recommended we go there first. It turned out to be an incredible view from the top that morning, and he surprised us with a delightful cheese platter to enjoy there. We also visited waterfalls, lakes, villages, and vistas, which included an awesome picnic with the most scenic hillside and water views. We also loved getting to know him (he's really smart, personable, and entrepreneurial) and learning a lot about Swiss culture. Joshua truly loves his country and everything that makes Switzerland so special; you'll get to see and experience this passion shining through in the hidden places you'll enjoy that you'd never be able to find or create on your own, much less in a big tourist group. He is *a total gem* and meeting him was a big highlight of our trip. Needless to say, we HIGHLY recommend Joshua and this tour!
