We booked very last minute and managed to secure a tour. Our guide was very personable and full of stories about nelson and other topics. The walking was pretty easy and we had a real feel for the place by the time it ended.

James is a terrific guide. He really knows about Nelson and is quite anecdotal as well. We had a wonderful time on our tour with him.

Perfect walk in town for first visitor to the town. We would never had a chance to visit some of the lovely placed on our own. Our guide James is very kind and knowledgeable, recommended the best place for sunset view. Very much appreciate!

James was a great guide, friendly and relatable. His commentary really gave us a connection to Nelson's history. We have not seen the things we did had we not been with a local who clearly loves this city

After this tour you'll know much more about Nelson. And you'll see a lot more. I had been in this town for a couple of days but had not seen the wallpaintings, sculptures and more. And James is an entertaining story teller!

Easily accessible meeting place, James was welcoming and friendly, we would recommend this walking tour for first timers to Nelson. James took us to some lovely areas of the city, following the heritage trail, arts city centre trail and along river bank.

James was very knowledgeable and friendly. He showed us and gave us a lot of information otherwise, not knowing. Highly recommend this tour to all, but especially if your visit has time restraints
