Our day begins by meeting with you and traveling towards the area of Nemea, where we begin our tour at the ancient stadium of Nemea, built in the 4th century BC, next to the temple of Zeus. Next, we will visit two award-winning wineries in the area, where we will learn about the vintage process, the wine-making stages and see the way wine is produced. We will share with you all the secrets of wine, through tasting some of the various local varieties. Our tour ends with a return trip to our pick up destination.

What To Expect
Ancient Nemea
Our day begins by meeting with you and traveling towards the area of nemea, where we begin our tour at the ancient stadium of Nemea, built in the 4th century BC. Well known for the Nemean games, with a capacity of 40.000 spectators, it is one of the best preserved stadiums and we can still see the tunnel through which the athletes entered the stadium. We will also see the temple of Zeus, which was used for the religious events of the Games.
Ancient Nemea
First Winery, Nemea, Peloponnese Nemea is also known for the vineyards. The area has the most wineries in Greece as grape growing has been a tradition here since ancient times. Driving through the grape yards of the largest wine production zone in Greece, our next stop will be the largest winery of the region. On a high altitude spot of Nemea we will taste some of the best varieties that grow here.

5.00Amazing experience. Gina was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the trip and was fun to spend time with. The wineries were both enjoyable, with the small family owned one being a highlight of the trip. I would highly recommend this very personalized trip for anyone looking for a quick day trip in the area with a nice mix of history and wine tasting!

5.00We enjoyed our Nemea wine tour with Gina. We were picked up in a luxury vehicle. Gina definitely made the tour more fun. She loves wine!! The wines we tasted were delicious and we purchased a few bottles for the next stops on our trip.

5.00This was a really great time. Our guide was super knowledgeable and clearly had connections to wineries in the region. We were ahead of schedule so she was able to get us an additional tasting at a winery at the last minute, which was a fun addition. Everyone was so polite at each winery and it was great to learn about the region's grape varieties and history.
