Fabulous cooking experience in Nafplio

5.00This was an amazing experience with a professional chef, learning how to prepare regional cuisine. We assisted in making a gourmet greek salad with a twist, appetizer of fried feta wrapped in philadough (learned about all the different kind of feta), chicken ragu with pasta, and a homemade orange cake. They paired each course with a complimentary wine. Kitchen & knife skills were taught. My husband and I had such a great time making the foods and learning, followed by eating a fabulous lunch! We cannot recommend this experience enough. Thank you to both of our hosts!

5.00Fantastic experience. I do cooking classes whenever I travel somewhere new, and I was so impressed by this. Some unique aspects of this class is the wine tasting and the plating of the dishes. While some cooking classes give free wine or drinks, I’ve never seen one that is so intentional about the wine pairing with each course. I don’t typically drink wine but this opened my eyes to how important wine choice elevates meals flavors. The class was very clean and organized. The meals were delicious and I got to learn new techniques and tricks that can be used in daily cooking like how to use parchment paper to speed up cooking. I am so glad I took this class and highly recommend it.

5.00We have an amazing time. Kostas was a math teacher, so he really knows how to teach, even the most unexperienced ones. The foid was amazing the vibe and ambience great. Agatha was all around making sure everything is in the right place. Highly recommended

5.00Such a fun experience at Savor Nafplio! We did the cooking class and loved it. We made stuffed zucchini, fried feta wrapped in filo (so good), and orange syrup cake. Costas and Agathi were amazing hosts – super warm, welcoming, and really entertaining. We also learned a lot about feta and wine pairing, which made it even better. It honestly felt like cooking with friends. Would 100% go back – 5 stars!

5.00Two of us attended the cooking experience and thoroughly enjoyed it. Hands-on participation to prepare each of four delicious courses, with thoughtful guidance and answering of all our questions. They also explained the origin of selected wines (all Greek!), why they pair well with each course - and this truly elevated the meal. Who knew that beets were so good? The cooking space is easily walkable from Nafplio's Old Town (< 1 km), and is comfortable and spacious. Many thanks to Kostas and Agathi. This was a highlight of our trip!

5.00Costa was so much fun to spend the afternoon with. We learned so much about Greek cuisine and all of the amazing ingredients that make the food so wonderful here. We also learned that there is never “too much” olive oil! We highly recommend this experience if you happen to be staying in or passing through Napfolio. It will go down as our most memorable experience from our trip to Greece!!!

5.00Our extended family had an wonderful evening with Chef Kostas. The grandkids (and the rest of us!) were thrilled to help prepare our meal. The lessons, the food, the wine, and the whole experience was amazing. More than just a cooking lesson, it was a cultural experience as well. This was a highlight of our trip to Greece and we highly recommend it.

5.00We had an excellent experience cooking and enjoying the prepared four course lunch with wine pairings. Not only did we learn new cooking techniques and about Greek food but also about Greek wines. One, if not the best, meals we’ve had in Greece. Highly recommend.
