5.00This is a great way to see NYC, with also the option to get off a bus to explore different areas, and then hop onto another one when you are ready. The buses run every 20 to 30 minutes at each stop, but that may change due to date and traffic and such. We enjoyed our tour.

1.00Scheduled our tickets for the day of our arrival as we were supposed to arrive early in the day. However, our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive to our hotel until 3pm. I sent 3 messages through the app asking if we could change the date of our tickets. Each time I received an automatic reply that they had received my message and someone would respond soon. I just returned home to Florida and still have not received a response. I have now sent a refund request, but I'm guessing I won't receive a,response to that either. Not happy at all with the lack of customer service.

4.00We totally loved the red line. The buses came often and the narrated tour was great. The blue line buses did not run as often and we were not able to ride back to where we started.

3.00We had to wait almost 45 minutes from the time we initially boarded the bus before the bus left to begin the tour. That was frustrating but once we finally got started, it moved smoothly.

1.00I was not happy with the service. One of the buses broke down and had to wait for another one. We were told in 10 mins a new one would pick us up, then it turned to 30 mins. Then when finally the new bus arrived we were on our way and that bus gets in an accident (was hit by another bus) had to wait for a new bus. This wasted a lot of time for us and didn’t get to see all the things we wanted.

2.00I have always used Hop on Hop off buses in every major city I have ever visited. Disappointment for the Big Bus downtown NY: stops away from tourist attractions, very long waiting times (40 minutes for the closest to the Statue of Liberty and we finally left on foot). The crowded buses, probably because there are fewer than necessary, and not everyone could always get on. If I had to do it again, I'd take another company.

I loved the fact that I was able to hop on and hop off at different places to eat and shop Chinatown, Little Italy, etc. I left my cell phone on the bus and I was asked to return to the starting departure stop the next day and my phone would be there. I returned the next day and sure enough they had my phone.

1.00Hate to write bad reviews but sadly I do not recommend Big Bus Tours… My last 3 experiences in London, New York and Dublin were not worth the money.. Understandably cities and traffic add to the issues but the New York bus was awful… We hopped on a bus which had a plastic roof.. there were no warning signs to say that it was really low and my husband who is of average height really hurt his head.. Also there were not enough buses on the streets so we would wait for ages and when a bus arrived it would be full.. we ended up walking…
