Absolutely stunning! From the beginning until the end: the cable car trip, the village, the Buddha, the temple. Perfect!

In the morning to arrive at the Dongguan station, many people have entered the line of order chaos, people control hand and experience is clearly insufficient

I purchased my ticket online for Ngong Ping 360 (the cable car to Tian Tan Buddha) and the experience was extremely disappointing in terms of organization. Even though I had bought the ticket online, there were no screens or display boards showing queue numbers or estimated waiting times. Everything felt chaotic. We had to wait downstairs in the rain with at least 200–250 other people. There was no clear information, no proper guidance—just large crowds and confusion. Once we got to the top, the situation didn’t improve. We had to stand in two additional separate lines, each with around 300 people. The lack of an efficient crowd management system made the whole experience very frustrating, especially considering we had prepaid our tickets to avoid long queues. The views are beautiful, but the organization is very poor. For such a popular tourist attraction, I expected a much better system in place.

The line is chaotic, there is a shortage of people in the station, when the team is wrong, we go back and out and ask and then we have to go through the line, disappointed.

We went on a weekday, mid morning. The queue just to buy tickets was about 90 mins, then another 30 mins or so to get on the cable car. However once on, the views are great and it's good value for money. The village IS a tourist trap, but the climb to the Buddha and views from there are great. Pre purchasing tickets will definitely save at least half the queueing time.

The cable car offers spectacular views, showcasing two wonders of the world: the airport island and the road island across the bay.

This was a really fun and interesting day trip out of Hong Kong. The village is really lovely, plenty of shops and restaurants. The attractions on the island are well worth the effort to get out there. And the views from the cable car were great.

This was a great day trip from Hong Kong. Got the ticket for the cable car through the Go City pass. Fantastic visit, lots to see and do, and the cable car views are amazing.

it was very frustrating. I didn't even want to take a photo Waiting time was over 2 hours for each side, which is unacceptable. Line control was poor, and many people cut across or joined from the side. Staff did very little to manage the situation. view from the cable car is good, but after standing so long, it is hard to enjoy. Overall organization is weak and wastes too much time. Not recommended unless you have a lot of patience and extra time.
