It's a complete waste of time and money!! The Buda is far far far away. It doesn't worth the 50 minutes of queue! The price sucks!!! 40dolars of waiting

A bit of a tourist trap. $295 HKD. At the top there’s just a village of stores food places selling junk. The views were nice but not worth the money or time needed to get here from Kowloon. When in HK do something more authentic

the official luggage storage is a total rip-off—they wanted $400 for our 4 bags! Luckily, we found this small luggage storage spot right next to the cable car station. It’s only $50 per piece, stays open late, and uses fully automated lockers. You can find it in the park right next to the Tung Chung Cable Car Station. Very easy to locate! And it seems the owner love dog so much. Since it was a weekday, the crowds weren’t too bad.

it' s subjected to weather condition and peak time of visitors to impress my experience on this attraction.I went there on weekday, at the very early at the beginning of operation of the cable car at Tatung station terminus. it's not too hot, ,light clouds, and do I enjoy my ride without any annoyed feeling. it's cool and not too hot, riding through the ngongping village at the end, just standard car is enough for full experience , riding through all 7-8 Leitner poles .Enjoy view of ChekLap kok airport island, lush forest, Big Buddha .

Loved the views on the the cable car, did the crystal cabin option which is a clear glass bottom on the cable car, quite a long journey for a cable car up to the big budda.

I am giving this a one-star rating due to the unbearable overcrowding, the understaffed terminal, and the complete lack of a proper reservation or ticket numbering system. Even if you purchase your tickets in advance, you are forced to stand in a sweltering, messy, and stationary queue for up to three hours. There is no efficiency at all, and it is infuriating to realize that pre-booking offers no priority, leaving you stranded in a chaotic terminal for half the day just to board. The experience only worsens once you reach the front of the line, as the tickets are incredibly expensive for such poor service. Despite the high price, there is no privacy and you are crammed into a cabin and forced to share the small space with strangers. Between the endless waiting and the packed cabins, you could easily spend your entire day here just standing in line. My strongest advice is to never book in advance. It is much better to arrive at the terminal, observe the actual length of the queue, and only buy a ticket at the kiosk if it looks manageable. Booking ahead simply locks you into a miserable ordeal that ruins your entire trip.

The experience on this visit to Ngong Ping 360 was highly unsatisfactory and not worth the expense. Due to an active thunderstorm warning, cable car operations were suspended. Visitors, including myself, waited over two hours at the Ngong Ping 360 station without any progress. Staff repeatedly mentioned bus alternatives but provided no details on capacity, seating availability, or schedules. Having operated for 20 years, the facility should be well-equipped to handle adverse weather. However, all aspects of service—including staff communication, announcements, online guidance, traffic management, and queuing arrangements—were poorly executed. Queuing disruptions from mainland tourists frequently entering and exiting lines further compounded the issues. I do not recommend revisiting.

Very poor experience with Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car The cable car was temporarily closed due to rain — understandable for safety reasons. However, the management was extremely poor. Passengers were left stranded for over two hours with no clear information, no crowd control, and no proper evacuation plan. There were no alternative solutions provided, and people had to figure out how to leave on their own. It felt completely disorganized and frustrating, especially with such a large number of tourists stuck in the area. If there is no proper contingency plan for situations like this, the operation needs serious improvement.

Horrible experience, just pray there's no thunderstorm when you're there. The return cable car trip was cancelled and we waited for 3 hours in long winding lines for bus. No arrangements for water or restroom for kids. If handking tired and cranky children is your forte then go for this location
