We went on a weekday, mid morning. The queue just to buy tickets was about 90 mins, then another 30 mins or so to get on the cable car. However once on, the views are great and it's good value for money. The village IS a tourist trap, but the climb to the Buddha and views from there are great. Pre purchasing tickets will definitely save at least half the queueing time.

The cable car offers spectacular views, showcasing two wonders of the world: the airport island and the road island across the bay.

This was a really fun and interesting day trip out of Hong Kong. The village is really lovely, plenty of shops and restaurants. The attractions on the island are well worth the effort to get out there. And the views from the cable car were great.

This was a great day trip from Hong Kong. Got the ticket for the cable car through the Go City pass. Fantastic visit, lots to see and do, and the cable car views are amazing.

it was very frustrating. I didn't even want to take a photo Waiting time was over 2 hours for each side, which is unacceptable. Line control was poor, and many people cut across or joined from the side. Staff did very little to manage the situation. view from the cable car is good, but after standing so long, it is hard to enjoy. Overall organization is weak and wastes too much time. Not recommended unless you have a lot of patience and extra time.

I’ve taken this cable car many times. Even on a weekend but today was perhaps one of the worst experience I felt. Waisted almost four hours of my life just lining up! People are skipping the line, there are two people in a cable car. On a packed day, there should be more manpower and better alternatives especially to a busy day. Wasting four hours of my life just standing in the cold is not an experience I would recommend on someone. Do better ngóng ping, this isn’t the first time!!!!😡😡😡😡😡

Line up to get in 2 hours standing. And the return is the same, horrible experience. Taking that away, it's worth the view. Ask when buying tickets if there was a fast pass and we were told no, but there are people who come straight in without lining up. It's awful the line to take the cablecar. It ruins everything.

3 hours queue just for the outbound journey and feels the same again. Outlook okay, nothing special. Wouldn't recommend anyone, prefer to explore Hing Kong or use the time differently. Completely overrated.

There isn’t -⭐️ so i gave 1 star. 2.5h waiting to enter the cable car. 2.5h of wait for return. If you have time to waste. It is something different out of the city experience. Not family or senior friendly. How do they expect elderly to stand and queue for over 1h. Sad to say this is the worst efficiency we have met this holiday. Even crossing the border on the weekend is faster. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!
