Granada
The city was founded in 1524, therefore, being one of the oldest in the country and in Central America. Granada was a candidate to be the capital of the Republic of Nicaragua; The city is internationally known for its colonial architecture, in addition to being the meeting center for poets, especially at the Granada International Poetry Festival, It is the only freshwater lake in the world with sharks. It has waves and tides just like the seas. Visiting the city of Granada, we will do a city tour of the cathedrals and places of greatest importance, avenues, old houses and the city's central park.
Masaya Volcano National Park 2025
This does not compare to anything you have seen before, the surprising incandescent lava from the highest point of the crater. The volcanic complex is made up of a nest of calderas and craters, Las Sierras being the largest of them. Within the latter lies the Masaya volcano itself. This houses the Masaya caldera, formed about 2,500 years ago by a basaltic eruption. Within this caldera, a new basaltic complex has grown from eruptions, especially in a semicircular set of fumaroles that include the Nindirí and Masaya cones.

I can’t say enough good things about Pure Nature Private Tours. We began our day very early with our driver Emanuel to get to the border before the big lines. I had read other reviews for a similar tour with another company and the people were confused and left to figure out the border process on their own. Not us. We had the help of Emanuel, Carlos, and on the other side Berman (Bomb), our Nicaraguan guide and made it across with little waiting and no hassles. He also was our official photographer and took amazing photos! We began with breakfast at the most amazing cafe. We then made our way to Lake Nicaragua in Granada and took the most beautiful ride through the jungle waters, getting up close and personal with the most adorable spider monkeys. We spent some time in the town itself, learned some the rich history, and saw some of the traditional dance celebrating La Purisima. We also had a fun chocolate experience at the local chocolatier. We had a delicious traditional lunch. Due to the increased volcanic activity we could not go to see that part, however Bomb was able to get us to the Christ of the Mercy instead. The views of the beach town below, the serene atmosphere, it all felt very special. We then traveled into the fun beach town before heading back to the border. Such a pretty place! Nicaragua and the Nicaraguan people we met were so welcoming. It felt safe and we would definitely make plans to go back and spend more time exploring this beautiful country.

A great family friendly tour that was very educational but fun at the same time. We had a great tour guide Carlos that provided a lot of information of Nicaragua. The family spent time on boat trip exploring different parts of Nicaragua that couldn’t be seen walking or in a car. I would recommend this tour for anyone.

We did two tours with Carlos. Our first tour we did the waterfalls and rainforest tour at the sloth sanctuary. The waterfalls was a nice easy walk with swimming at the falls.everyone in our group of 5, ages 11-65 enjoyed the swimming. Next we went off to the sloth sanctuary. This was amazing. My grandson really wanted to see snakes which we did within 15feet of our walking tour. Our guide was so knowledgeable he was fantastic. I can’t remember his name but we learned so much from him. We were close up to a sloth hanging on a low branch just hanging out scratching himself. So cool. Then it was off to a coffee and chocolate farm. This was interesting but I felt my grandson lost interest halfway through. We also had lunch at a wonderful spot which was very good.

The views were unreal and our guide sandino really knew his stuff. It's a long day but it's so beautiful the day just flys by. You go from the ocean to the lake to the volcano all about 45 mins apart. The food was really good too. Would def reccomend.
