The pure sound of unspoiled nature and water cascading through the canyon takes on a special kind of magic at night. Imagine mystic shades dancing on the walls all around you. The bright green color of illuminated water pools creates an unreal atmosphere, while the waterfalls appear to flow like milk. Sounds like an imaginary story?

What To Expect
We will meet in front of our Bled office at 8 pm and from there we will drive 20 minutes to the Grmečica canyon. Once we arrive, it will take us only 10 minutes to the canyon's entrance. Here, you will put on a neoprene suit and canyoning shoes, all provided by your guide, and prepare with a short briefing on the safety rules. You will explore the Grmečica canyon and jump from 4 to 10-meter-high rock ledges into deep crystal-clear water pools, slide down natural tunnels and slides, and rappel down the narrow rocky walls with a secured rope with the help of a guide. Your adventurous journey in the canyon will take around 1,5 hours. The time in the canyon may vary depending on the group's pace. Then you will change into your clothes and drive back to Bled with your guide.

5.00This was a father-son trip (son is 16) and we had an amazing time. Both of us have been canyoning before - but never at night. This was an absolute highlight of our trip to Slovenia. There were multiple jumps into pools lit only by the headlamp on your head from 20-30 feet up as well as repelling. It was a warm night but the water was still ice cold (4-6 celsius); however, the 7mm wet suit and adidas Terrex Hydro Lace Boots (don't go canyoning with any outfit that doesn't offer these boots) kepts us warm (except for hands). At the end of the canyoning portion of the trip we floated down the river back to the car, stargazing as we floated on our backs. Our guide Vince (Vic) was great; explaining everything and taking photos and video (admitedly a bit challenging at night when you're in a gorge.
