I paid for the sand boarding and didnt do it for whatever reason. Don't expect like a traditional Qatari experience which is what I was hoping for. I think my guide was a fake wanna be Qatari. I think he was south Asian, he was speaking some fluent Hindi/urdu, but dressed like he was a local. Everything just seemed rushed. The car was also pretty filthy. Sorry just being honest.

Our desert safari with guide Akhtar was an amazing experience. He was very welcoming and shared interesting facts about Qatar on the way to the desert. Akhtar’s driving skills during the dune bashing were impressive, and we felt completely safe throughout the thrilling ride. My highlight was watching the mesmerizing red sunset over the peaceful desert landscape. We also loved seeing where the desert meets the ocean and marveled at the stunning stars at night. Since the sunset is early, I recommend starting the tour around 3 pm to make the most of the views. This unforgettable adventure definitely won’t be my last desert safari!

Absolutely incredible 4-hour private desert tour in Doha! Dune driving, sandboarding, camels, sunset in the dunes, sea shore, and stars ✨. Akhtar, our guide, was amazing—knowledgeable, punctual, and made us feel completely safe while driving fast through the dunes. The buggies with their lights around us felt like a magical Mad Max scene. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

My group's guide, Mishal, did an amazing job showing us the greatness of the Inland Sea. While it was a bit strange to be brought to the quadbike station despite it not being included, we enjoyed some tasty karak chai while we waited for a member of our group to do their ride. The camel ride was also quite short for my preference (only 5-10 minutes and about 50 feet). The rest of the tour was a great time and Mishal was very friendly and helpful throughout the tour. He was an especially great driver for the offroad portion, making for a great ride in the sand dunes.

Driving through the desert at night in complete darkness is a special feeling—and yet so peaceful. We had a beautiful view of the stars, even though the phone couldn’t quite capture their magic—the impressions and memories stay in your mind. At the end, we stopped by the sea. The water was pleasantly warm, perfect for a little walk under the headlights. A wonderful tour to unwind in the evening. Again, highly recommended for women who want to feel safe while traveling alone. I warmly recommend Wadood for this, as I’ve been on several solo tours with him already.
Super fun adventure with multiple activities, got amazing photos taken. Basically one tour where you get the highlights

We had the best time!!! The tour is packed with activities. We drove quad bikes (that was extra price), rode a camel, had a photo with a falcon and then dune bashing with our driver/tour guide Wadood. That included multiple stops for photos (and he was a great photographer) and we went down the dune on a snowboard. It was really worth it and it’s a great deal for the price.

Perfect desert safari under the stars. The tour included really exciting dune bashing and stops by beautiful places in the desert and Inland Sea Beach. These spots of the Persian Gulf were ideal for pictures. Our guide Sabzali was very professional, friendly and adventurous. Definitely recommended!
