Such a fun, unique experience. Very knowledgable! It isn’t just organisms that can phosphoresce, who knew the rocks beneath us can too….

Sean was very knowledgeable and this was a great experience for all of us. We went to three sites and found some amazing glowing minerals which we were able to take home. My 12 year old loved it. Highly recommended!

Sean was knowledgeable and informative. Our goal was to confirm that the flashlights we bought would show the rocks that we found because we wanted to bring them home to our grandchildren. Our flashlights did not work, but Sean was able to tell us about the filter we needed to buy to get it to work properly. We went with another couple and we had so much fun. I also found a scorpion and it lit up a brilliant blue. The scorpion was tiny so I wasn’t very intimidated.

We had a great time. The kids really enjoyed searching for all the different colors in the rocks. Sean knows his stuff and taught us a lot about how the rocks were made and how to tell what minerals are present from the color.

Night rockhounding with Sean was so much fun. We visited multiple locations and ended up coming home with a few bags of glow-in-the-dark treasures. What looks like an ordinary brown rock during the day suddenly fluoresces under different wavelengths of black light. Truly incredible to see in person. Sean was knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and made the entire evening both educational and entertaining. We learned a ton, had great conversation, and genuinely enjoyed every minute. We would absolutely do this tour again. Highly recommend for anyone with even a remote interest in rocks, geology, or just unique nighttime adventures.

Sean was incredible! We found lots of rocks (and glowing baby scorpions) and he gave us lots of history of the area and good restaurant recommendations. His dog, Winnie, is also great. Would highly recommend this trip!
