Nikko Tosho-gu
Discover one of Japan’s most ornate and important UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the Tokugawa shogunate, Nikkō Tōshōgu Shrine is famous for its lavishly decorated buildings, intricate carvings, and the iconic “See No Evil, Speak No Evil, Hear No Evil” monkey sculpture. Surrounded by cedar forests, this sacred complex blends stunning artistry with deep history, offering visitors a chance to step back into Japan’s samurai era.
Lake Chuzenji
Nestled at the foot of Mount Nantai, Lake Chūzenji is a scenic mountain lake in Nikkō National Park. Formed by volcanic activity over 20,000 years ago, it offers breathtaking views that change with the seasons—from cherry blossoms in spring to fiery autumn foliage. Visitors can enjoy boat cruises, lakeside walks, and stunning panoramas, especially when combined with nearby attractions like Kegon Falls. Its tranquil atmosphere makes it a refreshing escape from the bustle of the city.

Excellent guide, very kind and inquisitive, with good tips for the use of time, and made everything for our day better. Nikko also exceeded our expectations, especially the Toshogu temple.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An unforgettable Nikko experience with Shabeer! We had an absolutely fantastic day touring Nikko with Shabeer, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, enriching, and thoroughly enjoyable. Shabeer took us to all the iconic highlights of Nikko — the stunning red Shinkyo Bridge, the magnificent temples and shrines, the serene beauty of Lake Chuzenji, and the breathtaking waterfalls, including the famous Dragon (Kegon) Falls and another equally beautiful waterfall along the way. Each stop was thoughtfully planned, giving us ample time to explore, take photos, and truly absorb the surroundings. What really set Shabeer apart was his deep knowledge and engaging storytelling. He didn’t just show us places — he brought them to life by explaining the history, cultural significance, and religious practices associated with each site, including insights into Japanese worship and traditions. His explanations were clear, respectful, and fascinating, making the experience educational as well as enjoyable. Shabeer is also incredibly personable and entertaining, which made the long day feel relaxed and fun. His car was extremely comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, and his driving was very safe — we felt completely at ease throughout the journey. A special highlight for us was sharing a delicious Indian lunch together at the Taj Hotel in Nikko, which added a wonderful personal touch and made the day feel even more memorable. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely warm guide to explore Nikko, I cannot recommend Shabeer highly enough. This was one of the best guided tours we’ve experienced in Japan — truly memorable in every way!

We enjoyed very much. Our guide Rashid took us to all nature sites of Nikko area that we were planning and added more by himself, explained everything. Mountains, waterfalls, lakes, rivers, marshland - all in one day. Also, he picked us up from our hotel in Nikko and brought to our next hotel in Shinjuko. Good comfortable car, clean. Highly recommend.

Our guide, Rashid was a top notch gentleman and guide. He was agreeable to customize our tour so we could squeeze in everything we wanted to do. The luxury van was very clean and we could relax and enjoy the ride. Rashid filled us in on the sights as we drove to Nikko and answered all our questions about Japan. I highly recommend Rashid and this tour.
