What To Expect
Hanoi
07h30 - 8h00: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter for transfer to Ninh Binh. 09h15: You will have a short break of 15 - 20 minutes to stretch your legs, use the facilities or have a quick snack.
Hoa Lu Temples of the Dinh & le Dynasties
10h30: Visiting Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam from years 968 to 1010. Then you will visit the Temple of Dinh King and Le King to learn more about Vietnamese history under the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties.

4.00Had a great experience during the tour till the very end when the guide asked for 30 US dollars or the Vietnam equivalent in cash as she had to collect as a surcharge during the Tet holiday .I am really not sure why this was not collected by Viator when I first booked the tour 6 months prior but apparently they do not have the permission to collect the money ,it’s very inconvenient to have to pay cash like that during a tour as I would rather pay by credit card ,also the way in which the cash was asked for was not very pleasant at all ,it takes a lot for me to get upset during a tour and usually all my reviews are 5 star but that did upset me. Anyway the places seen were absolutely fantastic and Ninh Binh is well worth seeing either through a tour or on your own ,Because it was Tet holiday week I had the experience but otherwise I don’t think there is an extra surcharge.

4.00Ninh Binh is a fantastic place to see and highly recommend seeing it through a tour or on your own but my rating which is almost always 5 stars by the guide who was disorganized and rude as well when asking for the extra money owed for the Tet holiday week .I am not sure why this could not have been just collected by Viator instead of getting cash like this(30 US dollars ) during the tour which is inconvenient , Viator had made this very clear from the start except I did not see the addendum. The sites we saw were fantastic though.

5.00The tour was perfect! Loi, our guide, charged us with positivity from the very beginning and did not stop doing it the whole trip! Loi, thank you for your love for what you do and for the wonderful jokes! Perfectly timed, we didn't wait in lines. Incredibly beautiful nature! I also really enjoyed the bike ride! Actually, we only had 1 day near Hanoi for a guided tour, and we are very glad that we chose this one! Lunch was delicious, I especially liked the soup :) Loi told us interesting stories about Vietnam and its people. I highly recommend this tour❤️

5.00A lot of different activities, delicious lunch and overall a relaxed but always exciting ride - our highlight was cycling through the countryside. Also our guide (Loi) was super nice.:)
