07h30 - 8h00: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter for transfer to Ninh Binh. 09h15: You will have a short break of 15 - 20 minutes to stretch your legs, use the facilities or have a quick snack.

Hoa Lu temples of the Dinh & Le Dynasties

10h30: Visiting Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam from years 968 to 1010. Then you will visit the Temple of Dinh King and Le King to learn more about Vietnamese history under the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties.

We had a fantastic full-day tour of Ninh Binh, and a big part of that was thanks to our guide, Tom. From the start, he was friendly, professional, and very well organized. He explained the history and culture in a clear, engaging way and made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the day. Tom was always attentive, patient, and happy to answer questions, which really enhanced the experience. The itinerary was well paced, letting us enjoy the stunning landscapes, boat ride, and temples without feeling rushed. Overall, it was a smooth, enjoyable, and memorable day. Highly recommend this Ninh Binh tour—and especially Tom—as a guide. A great experience from start to finish!
