This isn’t a typical Osaka tour.
I’ve lived here for over 10 years, and I’ll show you the side of the city most visitors never see quiet backstreets, local hangouts, and neighborhoods with real character.
We start in Nakazakicho, one of my favorite areas full of small cafes, vintage shops, and hidden alleys. Then we head to Tenma, where things get more lively, with local food spots and everyday Osaka energy.
I’m also a professional photographer, so along the way I’ll help you find great spots and, if you’d like, take natural, candid photos nothing stiff or overly posed.
This experience is relaxed and flexible. It’s less about rushing through “must-see” spots and more about actually enjoying the city walking, eating, and taking it in like a local.
If you’re looking for something beyond the usual tourist areas like Dotonbori, this is for you.

We start in Nakazakicho, a quiet neighborhood filled with hidden cafes, vintage shops, and narrow alleyways most tourists never find. After grabbing a coffee and exploring the area, we head toward Tenma one of Osaka’s best spots for local food and real street atmosphere. Along the way, I’ll share insights about daily life in Osaka, the culture behind the neighborhoods, and places you’d never come across on your own. This experience is relaxed and flexible. We walk, explore, eat, and take in the city at a natural pace no rush, no strict schedule. If you’d like, I’ll also take casual, natural photos throughout the experience so you can leave with real memories, not just phone snapshots. Perfect for solo travelers, couples, or small groups who want something more local, more personal, and less touristy.

5.00I was traveling alone and I kept getting asked by family to send photos (which I never usually take because I'm camera shy). I booked Chris and I had a wonderful time. We walked around a really cool part of the city which I would t have found normally. Even though I'm ultimately camera shy I was able to feel comfortable enough to take a buncha different photos. I highly recommend. It was like hanging out with a friend with a camera.
