Ancient City of Ephesus
After greeting, we will have 20 mins drive to Ephesus area. We will start visiting one of the main highlights in Turkey, Ephesus, one of the 12 cities of Ionian League (an ancient Greek district on the western coast of Asia Minor) is located near Izmir. As a port city it was a major departure point for trade routes into Asia Minor. Walk through history along marble streets lined with wonderful public buildings, among them the Baths of Scholastica, the Library of Celsus; it was built in the beginning of the 2nd century A.D. by Gaius Julius Aquila to be a memorial to his father Gaius Julius Celsus Polemanus, the proconsul of Province of Asia. , the Temple of Hadrian and The Grand Theater are two of the most impressive buildings in Ephesus. Grand theatre was built in 3rd century B.C and it was later expanded to 24.000 spectators by the Romans in the 1st century A.D.

5.00We had a great time, it was more than what we expected, Gonca was a really nice surprise, she speaks very well Spanish and has great knowledge, she taught us many interesting things, she didn’t rush us and gave us plenty space and time to see, explore and take photos. It was a private tour so we were a party of 2, the fee was the right for what we received and the places we visited, the admission fees were included making quicker and easier the entrance. No hidden fees, you get what you select and pay for. We fully recommend this tour, we spent 10 days in Turkey and with no doubt this tour was the top one.

5.00We had a private tour in Ephesus. They picked us up at the airport, took us through the entire tour, and at the end of the day dropped us back at the airport. Everything was excellent, with precise timing and very well-planned logistics. The guide was very kind and extremely knowledgeable; his name is Jorge. It was the best option we could have chosen for our short trip to the city of Izmir.

5.00Kusadasi trip to the ruins of Ephesus was a lesson in history for the family . A UNESCO World Heritage site which mesmerized us Our guide was very knowledgeable and thorough.

5.00I highly recommend this tour as it covers all the great spots you need to know about Ephesus. Especially, the tour guide has a vast experience on the history of the places we went. I don't remember our guide's name (Tasz)? but you know who you are. Great experience for me and my husband.

4.00The terrace houses were very interesting but involved a lot of steps, Mary’s house was simple and interesting, the library was a beautiful site. I couldn’t see St. John’s basilica due to heavy rain. What was surprising was that they lightly push you to go to ceramic, leather and jewelry stores.
