Noboribetsu Date Jidai Mura is a theme park that recreates the streetscape of the Edo period (1600-1864), with the main theme of watching dramas and experiencing the social situation at that time. Many details in the village have been reproduced after strict research. Passing through the main gate of the castle, Otemon, you can reach the shopping street (Shouka Gai) where the commodity economy was active and prosperous in the Edo period, and the "Sitamachi" area where common people living in low-lying areas in the Edo period lived. There are 94 wooden buildings in total, in addition to a large ninja theater with a high-definition screen and high-fidelity sound, an oiran theater where you can watch famous prostitutes, and ninja fighting and martial arts shows.
