Our Noosa Hinterland Tour offers a comprehensive experience designed to satisfy every taste and desire. Enjoy a delicious gourmet lunch in Pomona, and a mead-tasting with at a charming estate and cellar door, wine and cheese tasting at a beautiful vineyard and more opportunities to taste the finest local produce and beverages.
Mead tastings are not available on our Sunday tour and replaced with a drink at an equally amazing hinterland craft brewery.
This shared tour will operate with a minimum of 4 adults.

Lake Cootharaba
Your day begins with a scenic drive that will lead us to our first stop, where you'll sip on a complimentary tea or coffee as you take in the stunning views of Lake Cootharaba, the largest and most serene lake in the Noosa Everglades.
Kin Kin
Next, we’ll hit the open road, winding through the picturesque countryside to the charming village of Kin Kin in the Noosa Hinterland. Here, you’ll get a glimpse of the past with its 100+ year-old hotel and, on occasion, the chance to pick up some locally crafted art and handmade treasures.

We found Joel to be pleasant, detailed and knowledgeable of the hinterland and the rich culture it exhibits. Looking for a relaxed tour of Noosa, I recommend Joel’s Journeys tour guide.

5.00Having thoroughly enjoyed doing the Glass House Mountains and Australia Zoo tour with Joel we decided to try another one and we chose the Noosa Hinterland tour. I am really glad we did as we had a really fab day seeing beautiful scenery and stopping to experience the lovely villages along the way including having a really tasty lunch and having the opportunity to do gin and mead tasting. A wonderful day out with a great host which I would highly recommend.

5.00Joel, our guide was very nice and informative. We heard a lot of great stories about the locations we visited. Lunch at one of the local restaurants was good as well we had plenty of time to see the sights and do some shopping.

5.00We had a great day travelling with Joel. We also travelled with him for the Australia Zoo entry and transfer. He was courteous and friendly with a big smile, very knowledgeable and informative. Very flexible and easy paced tour and not rushed. The morning tea stop is right on the lake, very quiet and pretty. The lunch at Pomona was delicious and the mead and wine tasting was very good. Highly recommend this tour and tour company and Joel himself, all excellent.

5.00Fantastic well organised tour. Great overview of many different areas with informative and knowledgeable background details. You get to see some spectacular hidden gems which you may not otherwise discover. Joel was an amazing tour guide, extremely friendly, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. He clearly wants to make sure his guests have a great time and we did. The food and drink offerings on this tour were of a very high standard and you won’t be disappointed. Everything was local, fresh and delicious. You also get to meet the owners/operators and they are all so passionate about what they do, which makes for a great experience. Highly recommend doing this tour with Joel, you will have a great time and you just need to sit back and enjoy the day, Joel takes care of everything. Five star service all day.
