A full day was all the time we had, but wish we could have done multiple days. Our guide, Fred, was very knowledgeable and we would have missed out on so many details had we not taken this tour. We had 13 in our group and the day went smoothly and was very enjoyable. Take a jacket for the beaches as they can be chilly (even in August).

It was a perfect WWiII history tour. Our family of 5 (8, 11 & 13 year old boys) were in a nice van with another lovely couple. Our tour guide Matthew was magnificent. He was kind, knowledgeable and a great story teller. He did a great job summarizing the key historical facts, sharing visuals and maps and he also gave us enough time to explore. We had a perfect amount of time at each location and We didn’t feel rushed at all. I don’t think we could have had the same experience if we tried to go to all of the places we saw on our own. I highly recommend this day tour.

Fantastic tour led by guide Fred! He knew a lot about the battles as they took place during D-Day. Nice highlights seen. Very impressive

Robin was knowledgeable and clear. His pacing was excellent, giving us reasonable time to explore the sites after each of his tutorials. Since the tour description said we might have as many as 21 in our group, we were pleasantly surprised to have a total of only eight, fitting comfortably in a small van. Robin was a careful driver, both in driving respectfully with regards to other drivers and gently for us in the van.
