If you're looking for an all- day fully immersive and comprehensive tour of the American D- Day beaches and relevant sites, look no further, this is it! Charles was absolutely the best guide. He is very knowledgeable and obviously loves his job! Request Charles for this tour if you can. He is so enthusiastic and has studied this topic so thoroughly, he can answer all of your questions and makes every stop very immersive and super interesting. He is full of stories about D-Day and the men who lived it. We highly recommend this tour and Charles as a guide.

Everything was top class, especially our informative and entertaining guide, Charles. Can’t imagine the experience being the same trying to do it on our own.

Our guide, Charles, was amazing! His knowledge and understanding of this time in our world history was excellent; certainly his experiences growing up in this region served to enhance our learning experience today. The tour was never boring. We would highly recommend this day tour!

This was a great tour of key World War II sites, focused on America's role in the D-Day landing, but our guide Fred was amazing in the breadth of knowledge about D-Day and WWII in general. I have read a lot of books and watch a lot of movies abotu WWII but learned so much more during this tour. Very moving. Highly recommend!

Our guide, Frederick did an exceptional job with his abundant knowledge of the D-Day experience, along with the historical significance. During the course of the tour there was ample free time to explore on your own as well. The only negative part came when it was apparent one of the other inconsiderate tour guests had a horrible cold subjecting the group to constant coughing and the associate risks. The tour company might consider advising people who are not feeling well to be considerate of others and cancel their reservation.

One of the best tours we’ve ever taken! This is a full active walking tour over uneven ground and sand. Charles was a phenomenal guide! Knowledgeable, friendly and funny but also very respectful of the subject matter. There was much to see and the pace was not rushed but certainly not leisurely. Highly recommend this tour.

Our guide, Charles, was from Normandy and he and his whole family had lived in the area for several generations. He was extremely knowledgeable and he spoke perfect English with a beautiful French accent. We had been to the DDay beaches before but we were ‘self guided’. We learned so much more on this trip! And Charles’s commentary both at the sites and on the road was incredibly value-added. We can’t way enough positive about this tour!! We recommend it to everyone!
