If you are traveling with children, please note that everyone requires a seat. It is a legal requirement so please ensure you book a seat for each person taking the tour. It is forbidden to carry infants on your lap. When booking, please specify the age of the child and we will provide a car seat if require We do not accept children under 4 years old.
Large items of luggage are not permitted on board. Only small carry on cases or overnight bags will be accepted

What To Expect
Bayeux Shuttle - Departure point
We like to run on schedule and if you are not at the departure point by the advertised boarding time, we will depart. There will be others on board that have arrived as requested and we do not want to impact their experience. If you do arrive late, you will need to take a cab at your own expense to catch up with the tour. We strongly advise you to arrive early for the tour as no refunds will be considered if you miss the service.
You will be given a great overview of the beach landings that took place on Omaha Beach on June 6th, 1944. After which, you will have around 15 minutes free time to walk on the sand (depending on tidal conditions) where American forces landed on D-Day.

5.00Robin was knowledgeable and clear. His pacing was excellent, giving us reasonable time to explore the sites after each of his tutorials. Since the tour description said we might have as many as 21 in our group, we were pleasantly surprised to have a total of only eight, fitting comfortably in a small van. Robin was a careful driver, both in driving respectfully with regards to other drivers and gently for us in the van.

5.00Great tour from Marine who was contracted through Bayeux shuttle. She was informative and incredibly knowledgeable in regards to the tour and the region. This was a full day tour and we hit many DDay highlight areas. Would highly recommend!

5.00Naomi was great. She gave deals that provided insight and prospective. The tour covered many areas but it wasn’t too much or too long. We enjoyed it very much. A family in our group had a relative buried in the American Cemetery. They had tried to get permission to visit the grave but had trouble with that. Naomi got it arranged and they were able to spend some time at the gravesite.
