D-Day Beaches (Plages du Debarquement de la Bataille de Normandie)
Your private tour guide will take your private group up for a full day of World War II history, with an emphasis on the American soldiers who fought to protect the Allies and their people. You will visit important sites such as the ones that follow.
Pointe du Hoc
Your day continues with a visit to Pointe du Hoc, one of the most dramatic sites of the Normandy landings. Perched on a 100-foot cliff overlooking the English Channel, this position was heroically scaled by U.S. Army Rangers under heavy enemy fire. As you walk among the bomb craters and remnants of German bunkers, your guide will bring to life the extraordinary courage and determination that defined this mission.

Ryan did his homework on d-day and had good information to share. He kept us on track to be back at our necessary time and arranged a great place for lunch.

Ryan is incredible! He is so professional, funny and knowledgeable. He is a skilled driver and knows so much about Normandy. Normandy was moving. There is so much history and Ryan helped all of our family members young and seasoned, better understand what happened and how important it is to remember.

Amazing trip. Got to go into preserved German bunker, see bomb craters, walk on Omaha beach, visit a farm to buy 20 year old liqueur, and try fresh cider. Seeing the only remaining floating harbour set up by Winston Churchill was amazing. The American cemetery was touching, especially the graves for men they couldn’t name. Took my daughter (teenager) to help her understand the sacrifices made during WW2. Our guide Marius was extremely knowledgeable.
