It is a Unique Small Group Tour guided by a knowledgeable, Local Bonaire resident who Loves the Island!
Why Shekhinah Tours is Different: Unlike other tours, this is not a big bus experience with long wait times and impersonal guides. We want you to feel welcome to the island the moment you step off the ship, and we're excited to share our knowledge of the history, culture, economy and food on Bonaire!
You will be greeted personally and shown to your vehicle. There is a maximum of 7 guests per vehicle so that you will personally interact with your guide.
You will see all the major sites and highlights in Bonaire's North and South regions. Because of the minor group nature of this tour, you will be able to ask questions and make custom requests if there's something in particular you want to see. Time allows, and we'll do all we can to make this trip memorable for you and your group!
We Guarantee we'll have you back at your ship 1 hour before departure.

Public transportation options are available nearby
Specialized infant seats are available

What a wonderful tour with the wonderful Mar. Nice clean car, AC worked great and we travelled comfortably around the island learning about Bonaire’s history and culture. Mar dropped us off after the tour at a resort to enjoy the beach for a couple of hours, and a colleague picked us up when we were done. Excellent!

We got to hang out with Mar for the morning and we had a great time. We saw pretty much all of the highlights of the island, talked about the ins and outs of how life is in Bonaire and all of the questions we had were answered. It was like hanging out with an old friend and catching up. Bonaire has some rocky/coral beaches but it also has some of the prettiest Caribbean water!

The van is clean and the driver guide is friendly and informative. We saw all the places on the itinerary but felt a bit rush. The island is beautiful and serene with abundant wildlife.

We took this tour just with our family members: 2 adults and 4 seniors citizens. We enjoy having Nicolin as our guide, she pointed a lot of stuff for us, gave us her personal experience of living in Bonaire, took pictures, help our seniors on the stairs and have drinks for us. She was very flexible if we wanted to stay a bit longer too. We got to see wild donkeys, flamingos and my favorite the 1,000 steps. Nicolin recommended for us going to Chogogo resort so our seniors will be more comfortable than at the beach. We are glad we listened to her because we enjoyed and would love to go back. Nicolin picked us up in time and we arrange for her to come get us later from Chogogo. Thank you again! At the end of the tour, she gave us some salt as a parting gift.

Was interesting lot more walking than described in highlights not for someone who can not walk far or on a walker etc. plus there are NO public restrooms. I felt bad for the 5 people on our tour that had both these health issues. unfortunately for the rest of us we did not get to do the entire tour based on time restraint.

We booked this tour through Viator.com (We liked it a lot. There is no penalty for cancellation, there is no need to make advance payments for the reservation, modifications can be made online and are quoted at the time, good customer service via WhatsApp, etc.) The company gave us very good service, with the guide Renny. The tour is very well organized, having 9 stops and 28 points that you pass through, which are commented on.

Our guide was knowledgeable and explained the past of the island to us. We enjoyed getting to know the local and learning about the Bonaire culture and community. The salt flats was the highlight of our tour.
