This tour is unique because it gives traveleres the opportunity to explore another country in 1 day during their travel in Albania. This tour includes a full drive along Ohrid's Lake perimeter, exploring several UNESCO historic and cultural sites that are found by the lake with breathtaking views of Orthodox Byzantine monasteries and churches over the waters of the lake.
During the full tour of Ohrid, a city renowned for its 365 churches, you will have the opportunity to visit the city's churches, castle, viewpoints and a very special place where you will learn by demostration where and how experts of the 16th centry used to make paper (PAPyRUS).
After Ohrid, this program will take you on a scenic drive along the lake to other sites like Bay of Bones, Monastery of Saint Naum and Lin Town.

Visa Requirements for Entering the Republic of North Macedonia
Nationals of EU Member States and countries in the Schengen Area can enter North Macedonia with a passport or ID card — no visa required.
Citizens of non-EU countries holding permanent or temporary residence in an EU Member State also do not need a visa, provided they carry a passport with EU residence permit or EU ID card.
Foreign nationals with a valid multiple-entry visa from the UK, USA, or Canada may enter North Macedonia, as long as the visa is valid for at least 5 more days and ***INSERTED*** in the passport.
E-Visas (Electronic Visas) are NOT accepted.
You are responsible for ensuring that you possess the necessary travel documents to cross the border. The agency is not liable if you are denied entry.
The tour will proceed as scheduled, and you will be responsible for arranging your own transportation back to Tirana.
This tour is not suitable for people with mobility issues.
Depending on your nationality, crossing the border into North Macedonia requires a valid EU ID card or passport or visa.

5.00Wonderful tour! Dave, our guide told us about the history of Albania and what we could expect on the tour. Timely stop for coffee/bathroom and guided tour through Ohrid to the castle and option to take a boat back to the town. Excellent recommendation for lunch on the lakeside. Plenty of time for seeing the town and lunch. Afternoon stop at the peaceful St Naum. Dave was knowledgeable and gave clear instructions on where and when to meet at all the stops. Would definitely recommend this tour.

5.00I can highly recommend this tour! The landscape was beautiful as well as the architecture. Jenny was a very good tour guide, she provided interesting information, not too much and not only about ancient history but also about customs and culture. All the stops made sense and had the right duration.

5.00The beauty of Lake Ohrid and the Albanian/Macedonian countryside cannot be overstated. This was a long day with lots of bus time, but totally worth it for me. Our guide Jenny (or perhaps Gjenni?) had to deal with a large and TOUGH group of people who were extremely unresponsive and detached despite her many jokes and fun facts (some of us were indeed listening attentively and laughing at the back of the bus). She stayed professional and polite through the day despite the disappointingly aloof crowd. A big thank you to the driver as well, who navigated the many mountain passes expertly; I often get road sick with abrupt turn maneuvers, but I was completely fine during this trip. Martina, the Macedonian guide, was also delightful. All in all, a great day.

5.00We couldn’t have had a better tour guide for our day trip to Orhid today. Armand was amazingly considerate and kind to my elderly mum throughout and make our day special. The tour itself was great, Orhid is a sight to behold and a must-do for any visitors to Albania. The various stop offs on the way were welcomed and broke the journey up. 5.00Armand was fantastic. His energy was uplifting. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. The pickup time was clear and bus arrived on time. Our driver did a great job navigating the narrow roads. Ohrid was beautiful. A true hidden gem. This is a must do tour.
