Welcome, Greenlander welcomes you on the most adventurous Northern Lights chase in the Northern Norway. You will be guided by a pro photographer (see proof from our Instagram or Facebook page,) who will safely take you around the perimeter on a 4x4 modified Mercedes Benz minivan.
The tour consists central pickup, warm meal, hot drinks, tripods, thermal suit, boots, campfire(if conditions allow,) Aurora portraits and so much more.
Greenlander has a reputation of not giving up and therefore having one of the highest success rates in the business, around 95%-98% chance of catching the elusive Northern Lights. Please consider, the weather can be harsh and sometimes we have to chase for hours, before we can even see first stars. This tour might not suit for elder, obese and unfit participants, as sometimes we hike in a snow and our minivan is rather compact compared to bigger buses used by bigger companies.

5.00Arbo from Greenlander has been fantastic. He picked up the group on time as per instructions in the company email, gave us some basic information before the tour and we headed out to chase Aurora. He knew exactly where to go, he was checking the weather and forecast for Northern Lights on the way. He took pictures with us and Aurora, shared more knowledge during the campfire and then the show started......it was just beautiful. Thank you for everything Ardo. I would definitely come on another trip with you.

5.00we saw amazing northern lights, got very well shot photos, a very cool fireside dinner - the food couldve been a bit better if we're being picky otherwise everything was smooth Peter was our guide, he was full of information and energy, very helpful - made sure we all got photos we were satisfied with so we didnt have to spend a lot of time trying to get that done ourselves so we had a lot more time to enjoy the lights

5.00We left town in the rain with knowledge that we might see nothing. Our guide was checking weather, sat photos, aurora apps and keep our expectations reasonable. However contrary to all the data What unfolded was one of the most breathtaking sights I've ever seen all led by the wonder and enthusiasm of our guide Hans. His joy was contagious and when the lights came out to dance we were all just giddy. He did a great job explaining things and took off at a run down the river to capture the best photos for us. Hours or unexpected delight. Really yummy locally made camp/freeze dried soup around a campfire with a blaze of lights above us. Long drive and late night. worth every penny!

5.00My wife and I joined two small-group tours with Greenlander. Unlike more conventional outings, these took place in small Mercedes 4x4 minivans, providing an intimate and versatile experience first perfectly suited to Aurora hunting, hosted by guides who were more like expert friends. Our first night ended up at a frozen lake offering wonderful sights of the Northern Lights. There was no clock-watching, the entire night was focussed on achieving our objective regardless of how far we drove or how long we were out for. Drinking hot chocolate around a campfire on the ice, with the lights above us in a cloud free sky was just amazing - so good, in fact, that we initially decided not to attend the second planned tour as we could not imagine it could be improved upon and wanted to remember our trip for this amazing experience. How wrong we were! The owner of the business, Marcus, took us out on the second night. Conditions were not as good as the previous evening, so this took on a very different vibe as we needed to move around much more to find clear sky and good conditions. With Marcus constantly reviewing meteorological data on specialised apps, we ended up on a tiny snow-covered lane well off the beaten track. Marcus felt this was the place to be, and after waiting a short while, we were presented with a dancing light show that was so spectacular that it took our breath away. Two truly unforgettable evenings far exceeding our (already high) expectations.

5.00We had an absolutely fantastic trip with Peter, our guide, on an evening when the weather forecast was not at all favourable for seeing the Northern Lights. Thanks to Peter we ended up at a superb location on a deserted beach, where we had a campfire, hot chocolate, dinner and an incredible display of the lights over the fjord. Peter was extremely knowledgeable, funny, enthusiastic and very helpful with setting up our DSLR camera. He also took some amazing photos himself, which were sent to us the following day. Greenlander provides outstanding service and I would happily recommend them to anyone.

5.00We had an incredible experience, and Peter’s hospitality truly made the night special. He was very attentive, genuinely caring, and put great effort into making sure everyone felt comfortable and well looked after. Peter was honest and authentic, and he shared a wealth of knowledge and personal experiences about Norway, which made the tour even more meaningful. You could really feel his passion for what he does. At the campfire, he made sure everything was well organized and that everyone was warm and comfortable. He also has a great sense of humor, which created a relaxed and friendly atmosphere throughout the evening. Highly recommended – thank you for such a memorable experience!
