  I marked this down many because we were in a 15 passenger van was very cold when we stopped due to the door opening and closing at each stop, and that the driver would stop and we would just sit in the van for 30 minutes at a time with no explanation on why we stopped. Now we know that we were stoped waiting for the aurora. After 7 hours the aurora appeared in all its glory and made the long night well worth it. A bonus was we had a very friendly driver that gave us snacks and water, even chocolate cake at the end, and we had a couple of bathroom breaks.

  Absolutely amazing experience! Be patient, these guys know what they are doing and will find a show of a lifetime for you. It happened about 2:30 am for us. Worth every penny and every minute of waiting.

  I was a little bit skeptical when I saw the activity lasts about 10 hours. Thoght around 4 hours. Got so dedicated driver and photographer who insisted on showing us the beauty of aurora. They drove out 4 hours finding the perfect place and time for experiencing northern lights. We stopped at the 4th or 5th location they seemed on White Mountain, where it's about 120 miles out of Fairbanks. The view was really fabulous for first time viewer. We were picked up from hotel at about 7:15pm and returned back at about 5:30am. Really appreciate the carefulness from driver and photographer, highly recommend.

  It was an amazing experience of chasing the aurora lights, the tour Kim is so professional and patient to drive us to 2 different spots to catch the lights, also photoed a lot amazing pictures with their professional cameras, and they also provided snacks, water, hands and feet warmer, which makes the trip much easier and warmer, plus gave us some cakes at the end of the trip. It’s a lengthy trip, but for the vehicle is equipped with warm AC(Mercedes-Benz van), seats are comfortable too, highly recommended if you come to Alaska and choose this group as your guide to chase Northern Lights.

  My friend and I picked this tour after reading so many wonderful reviews about them. And our real life experience with them exceeded our expectations. To increase our chances to see the lights, we booked two nights back to back with them. Our tour guide Elana went above and beyond to make sure our experience was an unforgettable one. She had hand and toe warmers available for those who needed extra, as well as snacks and water during the wait period in the van. If that’s not thoughtful, I don’t know what is. She explained the reactions behind this phenomenon, how it happens, what to expect, the conditions required for good viewing. My only suggestion would be some sort of head microphone attachment so everyone could hear her, as she is driving and facing forward while doing this. She drove us over an hour away from Fairbanks, which led us to catch up on some sleep. She truly chased the lights, finding clearer spots for viewing. Our first night was -36, which made it excruciatingly hard for me stay outside for longer periods to watch the light- it wasn’t as bright as we hoped for. We had traveled the night before and landed in Fairbanks at 3 am so my whole system was out of sorts to begin with. We all took turns posing for pics, Elana and her husband has a smooth way of setting up cameras, getting pics done before the lights disappear. They are so quick and efficient, it’s amazing to watch. First night wasn’t all what we hoped for- lights weren’t spectacular. But Elana and Ed went out of their way to stay out longer than the allotted time to give us a better chance. Incredible service is all I can say. Our second night, we felt more relaxed, optimistic and prepared for. When Elana picked us up, she felt like an old friend already. She made sure to reserve the front seat for my friend- she is 71 and went through knee surgery last year. So that was another thoughtful way she made us feel looked after. Man oh man, what an incredible night it was. They took to us to three different spots. The night sky opened up for us and danced brightly and brilliantly. We got to witness them above the snow capped Alaska range mountain peaks. Dreamy and spectacular, spiritually enlightening. We felt incredibly fortunate to have chosen this tour. They went above and beyond to make our experience extra special. I highly recommend this tour. At the airport, I met another woman who was there for 5 nights but didn’t get to see the lights. The chasing tour built the anticipation and excitement all the more fun and Elana and Ed know their craft very well. So beyond grateful for this incredible experience.   Elena was super communicative and ensured a smooth pick up and drop off so that we were able to catch our train leaving Fairbanks in the morning with time to spare. We stopped at 2 different spots to catch the Northern Lights and took some really amazing pictures. It was truly an unforgettable experience, and the snacks provided were really yummy too!

  Ed, our tour guide and driver, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the aurora. His positive energy made an exciting experience that much better!! His knowledge of the Aurora and his experience that he shared with us was very much appreciated. This is a bucket list experience that we will cherish forever.

  There are no words to describe how phenomenal this trip and our guides were during our adventure. Their excitement and ability to find the northern lights was truly amazing. I would definitely return in the future

  This ended up being the best of all the sightings on my trip. The week I went had multiple snow storms so not very good for aurora viewing. They did their very best to find the gaps in the clouds to allow us a chance to see the lights. It wasn’t as vibrant as I expected but that’s not their fault. Book this one!!!   AMAZING TOUR They picked us up in a very modern van, with power outlets and very comfortable seats. The guide explained a lot about the physics related to northern lights. He explained that because of cloud coverage we would be driving for a couple of hours headed north. So basically he drove while my family and I took a nap and then he would stop at this random places on the highway and tell us to step down the van. We saw the aurora at 3 different locations! They took as many photos as we wanted and knew very well how to take them! They had a lot of snacks and water It was a very long drive from 8pm till 5am but it was completely worth it. I can’t recommend this enough! I have done both types of aurora tours (chasing vs lodge) and I would say this was my favorite!
