Come with us on a hunt for the Northern Lights with just a few other people so that you can enjoy it to the fullest & get the most personal service possible.
We focus on personal and fun experiences, combined with photography by the guide so that you can take home the memories, and the guide will tell you stories of the Vikings, the settlement and history of Iceland, the Norse gods & the mythological stories, and learn more about the trolls & elves found here in Iceland.
Luck is always a factor when hunting the aurora in Iceland. Even if all the conditions seem perfect, nature can be fickle, and the northern lights still may not show, in the case you do not see the lights, we will offer you a free-of-charge retry (subject to availability).
We reserve the right to cancel the tour at any moment, and for any reason, such as weather conditions & forecast, lack of participation, technical issues, etc.

The trip was absolutely incredible, and there’s something almost magical about the “Magnus factor,” which genuinely seems to boost your chances of catching the northern lights dancing across the sky. One of my favorite moments? Sipping rich, delicious hot chocolate made with a special ingredient you can truly feel—heart. It’s those little touches that make everything so memorable. From the very first moment until the very end, I felt completely cared for, relaxed, and in the best hands possible. This wasn’t just a tour—it was an experience crafted with passion. And when I come back (not *if*, because thanks to Magnus I know I will), there’s no question—Norse Adventures will be the only company I trust with my next journey.

5.00We had an incredible night hunting for the northern lights. Magnus is a brilliant story teller and was such a delightful host and guide for us. We had the best time, full of laughs and sharing stories, and yes, we caught the northern lights on the most beautifully clear night. The sky was glowing with starlight and the northern lights made a lovely little show for us which Magnus captured with his amazing photography. Me and my friend were so pleased! A special mention for some yummy home made hot coco !

5.00Magnus was really nice and helpful the first night I couldn't see the northern lights but he did his best and I had retried and I did he took nice pictures and told us interesting facts and stories plus the car is really comfy, I'm really happy with my experience

5.00If I could award more stars, I would. Magnus was great. He is a great guide and very hard at work. We had no luck the first day and I tried it again the next day. We were in a snowstorm and Magnus didn't give up. After the delicious cocoa, the lights came and they were fantastic. This tour is highly recommended.

5.00Wow! The Aurora put on a great show and our guide Magnus made aa difference for the tour with his explanation of the Northern Lights, the locations and his stories. Coming up from New Zealand where the Southern Lights are spectacular, this Tour was certainly a great way to see the Aurora Borealis.

5.00I had a wonderful time on the Northern Lights Jeep Tour with Norse Adventures. It ended up being even better than I expected and was a great way to get out of the city and experience the Icelandic night sky. Our guide, Magnus Viking (yes, that’s really his name!), was fantastic. He was incredibly entertaining and knowledgeable, sharing stories and insights about Iceland while making the whole experience feel relaxed and fun. It was clear he knew exactly where to go and how to make the most of the conditions that night. The tour itself was very well run, and the added touches like hot cocoa and Icelandic candy made it feel extra special while we waited for the lights. It felt like a really thoughtful and memorable experience rather than just a quick excursion. I got far more out of the tour than I expected and would absolutely book with Norse Adventures again the next time I’m in Iceland hoping to see the Northern Lights. Highly recommend!
