Northern Lights Midnight Adventure is a hunt for Iceland’s magical but elusive Northern Lights. Many visitors travel to Iceland to see the Northern Lights but don’t know where to look.
On this tour you travel in a comfortable, heated minibus while your guide searches for the best location to view the Northern Lights. Your guide will also explain the science of how the Northern Lights display occurs.
When or if the Northern Lights appear, your guide will offer to take photos for all participants, so you don’t have to bring a professional camera or be a professional photographer to join this tour. This tour is an ideal opportunity to get the most of your time in Iceland.
Northern Lights are natural phenomenon and sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Fantastic Aurora Experience

5.00We were very lucky to have an outstanding Aurora night. Our guide/driver/owner of the excursion was knowledgeable, friendly, and focused on making sure we had a great experience. Picked up right on time, Sprinter bus with about 15 guests. 45-60 minute ride from Reykjavik city center. Our guide explained in advance how the Aurora begin slowly, on the horizon, and should peak overhead about midnight. He was spot on, obviously knows his lights. We were fortunate to see almost full sky coverage and saw the dancing Aurora lights in green and some red. We were on site about three hours. Wrapped up with a hot chocolate warming treat and pit stop at the park facilities before the trip back. Highly recommended…

5.00Our tour guide was knowlegable, friendly and has a passion for the content of the tour. I was very impressed with the depth of information he provided. Plus, we got hot chocolate to keep warm and he offered us access to the professional pictures that he had taken. which was very.nice. 🙂 Fantastic experience that I will never forget!

5.00Fantastic experience, Siggi the driver / guide went out of way to make sure the group had a memorable experience, from the start one of the couple who’d booked were at the incorrect pick up point so he went out and collected them to make sure they didn’t miss the excursion. He also kept up to date with the conditions to ensure we stayed out long enough to get to see some marvellous lights.

5.00Northern lights trip was Siggy was absolutely amazing. He planned ahead for so many different eventualities. It made him so well prepared. He was more than willing to stay outside and make sure we caught the lights. He even provided hot chocolate so that we could stay warm both in and outside the bus he even stayed extra time to make sure that we could catch all the lights. I highly recommend this Tour please don’t do the standard regular bus tour. Several of the buses in the same area left at least an hour and a half almost 2 hours earlier than we did and they missed out on a lot because they had the standard two hour only time for seeing the lights. Siggy is where you need to go.

5.00The tour was fantastic. It’s a small group tour in a small van. Thomas the driver was outstanding. He has a wealth of knowledge and is happy to share with everyone. They go the extra mile to move around for best viewing finding a dark place off the road. They take professional photos which are included. Bonus!

5.00We really liked it. The guide taught a lot about the dawns, was impeccable, took us to different places to have a good experience. He took photographs of the customers with the auroras in the background and disposed of them for us to download. At midnight offered a hot chocolate, which was very comforting to warm up. I recommend the experience. Very friendly guide.

5.00My partner and I had a great experience on this trip. The tour leader was great, he was very knowledgeable explaining the science behind the northern lights and what key indicators we could look at to try and predict how they might look. Unfortunately they weren’t particularly active the night of the tour, but we did manage to see them! We were still offered the opportunity to rebook for another night as the tour leader seemed genuinely disappointed we didn’t get to see more. Would recommend.
