Climb into a tour vehicle with your group and set out into the Finnish wilderness, where it's easier to see the Northern Lights. We will provide you arctic outfits to ensure you stay warm while we are in wilderness.
Our guide will choice the best location for Northern Light hunt and set camp fire to prepare hot drinks. Sharing stories and information about Lapland, Lappish people and Aurora Borealis is major focus of our tour and your local guide will do this.
Our guests can ask questions and learn more about daily life and culture of this beautiful lands.
Hot drinks and snacks will be provided by your guide during our time in wilderness.

No Northern Lights but still a Wonderful Time

4.00Picture a cold night in the woods--with special suit/boots provided by the tour agency--, light hiking up a small hill full of pines trees; darkness, a little trepidation of the unknown, but there! they are...not one, but two Strong Men guiding you, Franz and Kevin (one Finnish and one from San Diego, USA). What do they do? They take you to the top of the hill and make you feel welcomed in the wooden cabin, especially after Kevin makes the fire and Franz tells stories of a long gone past. Northern Lights? Where? Let me see them...What? Do we have to wait? OK..and we waited and as our patience started to betray us...we felt a "presence", yes, it was Fred, the always uninvited guest who no one have ever seen. The sky opened up...full of stars, but no Northern Lights ..GREAT NIGHT ! I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED GREAT STRONG TOUR GUIDES, and Fred was OK too. Thank you guys! Laura :)
