Just the most incredible evening with Harry, he was very very knowledgable about the aurora. Knew the best spot for our chance of spotting them. It didn’t disappoint. We had to be patient, he built a fire, supplied us with sausages, hot chocolate, biscuits and folk stories. We were so so lucky Harry took the best photos for our memories. Not forgetting Bart the driver who got us there and home again safely. An evening that dreams are made of. Thank you x

Phenomenal trip. Max, our guide, and Raphael, our driver, were superb. The remote valley they took us to was the perfect place to watch an incredible light display.

The tour was great. Harry was super knowledgable and friendly. He kept us informed all the way. It was a hard night to find a clear sky for northern lights viewing, but in the end we made it! Highly recommended tour

Harry was a fantastic guide - very informative, friendly and passionate about doing a great job. He was highly vigilant throughout the trip (yelling ‘drop the sausages’! half way through the campfire when we got a lucky second major sighting of the Aurora) and he took great photos. A big thanks to Rafa too for his excellent driving skills. Overall a brilliant, unforgettable experience and the bucket list now needs a new #1. I did another tour with a different company the following night and have to be honest - it wasn’t as good. So don’t look any further - book this tour and hope to get Harry and Rafa!

We booked a northern lights chase tour by bus and it was a great experience. The bus was for around 15 people, but we were bit less, so it didn't feel busy. Our guide/photographer Max was very knowledgeable and explained to us the physics behind Aurora and it was a really good explanation. We drove up north on the islands and found a spot and waited for some time(Max warned us that the lights show themselves if they want and we need to be patient). We also got some hot chocolate and tea while waiting and then we barbequed some reindeer sausage (i think you can also get vegan option) on the fire. We had this small camp with chairs around the fire so it was cosy. In the end we go lucky and saw some really nice lights and Max took amazing pictures. Obviously as we are in the nature, the toilet is the nature too. Also shout-out to our bus driver Rapha as he was the one spotting all the auroras.

I can’t say enough about this tour. Our guide Harry was incredible. From his in depth knowledge of the aurora covering everything from the exact science/mystic myths and legends to his amazing astrophotography skills he truly made our tour. His local knowledge is second to none and along with our driver Bart who made us feel remarkably safe on the icy roads, managed to find a fantastic spot where we were so lucky to see a huge aurora. Harry is an aurora enthusiast and it’s so clear to see his passion. He uses multiple tracking tools to find the best chances of a display for everyone. This company is highly recommended by us, they are very careful of their reputation and their impact on the environment. We left everything as we found it and parked safely on the narrow roads (which it has to be noted other newer companies did not unfortunately- when we left we could barely squeeze past meaning the snow blow doing the rounds definitely could not). If you are weighing up your options with different companies I urge you to chose this one, you won’t be disappointed.

Great!! Very good organization! Harry is very competent to find THE right spot to observe the dawns and make beautiful photos!! In addition, we benefited from a solar storm causing magnificent volutes in the sky! And even pink/purple in the fringes!! The photos taken by Harry and sent to us are fabulous! We also enjoyed the tales and beliefs of the northern peoples, told by Harry, gathered around the fire, cooking delicious reindeer sausages! Very interesting! Like his scientific explanations about the formation of the Northern Lights! And, a big thank you also to Bert, the driver, very good driver on these icy roads!! Do not hesitate to call on Northern Horizon and its great team!! You will be delighted with your evening 😁 Thank you Harry!! Happy season!

The tour operator #Northernhorizon and especially #Harrie our guide are all experts at their jobs. What I liked most about Harrie was that he was quite open about our chances of getting to see the #northernlights. He walked us through all the information he had been collecting throughout the day, the wind conditions, the cloud buildup, even about the various locations that we might have to travel to, if we were going to be chasing the #northernlightstromsø. He only asked us to be patient. Armed with all the information, our group consisting of people from the UK, US, Japan, China, Greece, Colombia, Russia were all excited as we boarded our coach towards Finland, Lapland (if required). The skies above Tromso were building up a storm, not ideal for sky viewing.A quick explanation about the lights are a must at this stage. The sun’s solar wind are constantly moving through the Earth’s magnetic fields. Also called the Aurora Borealis, they are a natural light display in the night sky caused when charged particles from the Sun collide with gases while moving through Earth’s atmosphere near the poles* Harry finally asked Raphael our expert driver, to stop somewhere on the border to Finland and we all alighted to minus 15 degrees temperatures. Fitted with thermal suits and our own snow boots we trudged through the snow. With only a few days left for the full moon, it was a surrealistic experience. I will now let the photos speak for themselves. Northern Lights was the best trip I had ever done in a while especially because the probability of viewing them was doubtful. Thanks to #northernhorizon and to #Harrie our guide we made memories for a lifetime. Thank you Universe 🙏🏻 and Mother Earth 🌍 for making a dream come true!

The experience was amazing! A dream made reality! The guide, Bert, was extremely professional taking us to the charming place! As we descended from the Van we already saw the Aurora Boreal, which was growing and becoming more and more beautiful, even dancing over our heads! All the care with the group was amazing!
