We had an amazing time with Hermann! Very well organised, making sure we were safe and comfortable. We had a wonderful view of the northern lights and his photos were a big bonus! Bartek was also very great. Thank you for the lovely time!

Could not have chosen a better Tour to go. Our guide was Max and he was amazing. We loved his energy and his passion for what he does. The whole experience is super worth it, sitting in the middle of nowhere with a fireplace, getting to know different people and cooking our own meal! And again, Max was amazing with his patience and experience in finding a good spot to see the Aurora. Would totally do it again

Feeling absolute joy! What an unforgettable night chasing the Northern Lights with our amazing guides, Max and Dom, and a wonderful group of people from all over the world. We travelled through rain and snow from Tromsø, crossing the border into Northern Finland, to witness nature’s incredible phenomenon — the Aurora Borealis. It was truly magical. 💚 Huge thanks to our guides, who led us on an adventure into the unknown with such care, passion, knowledge, and great humour. They made sure every one of us got the very best out of the experience. There was no guarantee of seeing anything but with the expertise of Max and Dom and a bit of luck we were blessed with several sightings, a Comet and star gazing under the clearest of skies. Photo credit to Max — he captured the beauty and playfulness of nature perfectly. I was in awe at every sighting. And if you look closely around the lake, you may spot Comet Lemmon! Northern Horizon thank you for a truly unforgettable experience.

An amazing experience for our honeymoon. Although the weather was not ideal for seeing the northern lights, our guide, Harry, went above and beyond to make the night memorable. By the end of the night, he was able to make it happen and we were very happy! The small group made it a more intimate experience which was perfect for the drive and campfire.

Absolutely amazing experience with Harry and Voytek. Their passion and dedication is amazing. We had a fantastic tour and it was well worth seeing the Northern Lights with these guys. A small intimate group tour where every one of us was looked after. We had wonderful interactions with both Harry & Voytek.

I did the northern lights tour with guide Harry and it was an amazing experience. We had the chance of seeing the aurora for hours and had a campfire, eating reindeer and vegetarian sausages, hot chocolate, ginger tea and biscuits. Harry was a great guide providing us with lots of info about the northern lights and taking beautiful photos since he is also an astrophotographer. Dominic was our driver. Driving for about 6 hours on snowy roads, to the border of Finland and back to Tromsø. The bus shuttle was also super warm and confortable. Harry and Dominic had proper arctic clothing and boots to borrow to all of us, which helped a loooot remaining warm. Thank you so much! Highly recommend.

This was our first time chasing the Northern Lights, and we’re so glad we made the right choice. It was raining the whole week in Tromsø, but we still managed to see them! The forecasted Kp index for the night was 4. We really appreciated having Hermann as our professional guide. He clearly explained how he would drive us to areas with clear skies to increase our chances of seeing the lights. He was patient and polite, and he proactively took photos of us with the Aurora. Those pictures looked as good as professional ones! He also guided my brother on how to use his camera and tripod properly in the strong wind and darkness, and shared interesting knowledge about the Northern Lights throughout the trip. We enjoyed dinner around the fire — reindeer or vegetarian sausages wrapped in a soft potato flatbread, served with hot chocolate or Christmas tea, and cookies. We got dropped off at the drop-off point around 1 AM. Overall, it was a wonderful and unforgettable experience.

Excellent from start to finish. Max, our guide, demonstrated his knowledge of the subject and made a great effort to find us a good spot to see the Northern Lights from the moment we left Tromso, despite the terrible weather. He gave us updates on the weather and where we were headed. We even crossed the border into Finland! He never seemed in a hurry or in a hurry to get back to Tromso. Bart, the driver, was very cooperative and brought us safely to our hotels. Being a small group, the experience was great and more personalized.

We had long planned to take a trip to see the Northern Lights after finishing our studies. When we arrived in Tromsø, after several cloudy days, we booked this tour for our last evening. It was absolutely worth it! Our very friendly guide Harry had been monitoring the Northern Lights activity (and explained it to us) and showed great intuition. He expected the auroras to appear a bit earlier that evening and chose a spot earlier along the route to set up camp, so we wouldn’t miss them while still in the car. And he was right. About 30 minutes after we got out (equipped with very warm suits), the show began—and what an incredible show it was! The sky lit up for a good 90 minutes. A true once-in-a-lifetime experience. Afterwards, we sat by a warm campfire, enjoyed hot cocoa from traditional cups, and grilled sausages over the fire. Meanwhile, Harry entertained us with stories, myths, and scientific explanations about the Northern Lights. All in all, I can only highly recommend this tour (of course, this natural phenomenon is weather-dependent).

Absolutely superb and I recommend Harry's tour to anyone seeking a beautiful and insightful experience. Harry was professional, knowlegable, friendly and his photography skills were a bonus! He was happy to take pics of us during the night. Harry's local knowledge was a benefit and he struck the perfect balance of sharing information and giving us space to sit in silence under these enormous curtains of light. The shuttle bus was new and the driver was experienced, friendly and helpful. I'll be using these guys again when I head back to Tromso.
