Welcome to Notting Hill—a place where pastel-painted houses, eclectic markets, and cultural legends come together to create one of London’s most photographed districts. On this immersive walking tour, you’ll not only see the famous sights—you’ll feel the history woven into every street.

Your journey begins on Portobello Road, home to the world-renowned market that has been trading antiques, curiosities, and street foods since the 19th century. As you wander through its energetic stalls, your expert guide reveals how this once rural lane evolved into a global treasure trove thanks to waves of migration, Caribbean heritage, and the rise of London’s bohemian scene.

You’ll spot filming locations from Notting Hill, hear stories of the area’s artistic revolution in the 1960s, and learn how the neighbourhood became the birthplace of the legendary Notting Hill Carnival—Europe’s largest street festival and a vibrant celebration of Caribbean culture.

Wesley the guide said to me, " I am passionate about bringing people together", and it shows. He is personable , extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. His background in the music business shows through, in stories about the many musicians who started - or ended - in Notting Hill.

Wesley was an incredible guide, and he created an unforgettable experience for my group. He didn't just show us highlights of London's neighborhoods -- he told us the story of London's social history with great nuance and affect. He took the time to show us photos and illustrations on his iPad at certain locations to show the comparison of what was in front of us to what would have been present hundreds of years before. He truly brought history to life. Wesley is charismatic, engaging, and very passionate about these historical communities and community-building in general. I cannot recommend this experience enough!
