Petrovaradin Fortress
From the Petrovaradin Fortress, which is waiting for us, proudly rising on the edge of the Danube river bank, you will have an unforgettable view of the entire Novi Sad City. A few centuries ago the fortress was the border between east and west, between two great empires, and still, its underground tunnels keep many secrets. Today one of the biggest music festivals in Europe “Exit” takes place among its strong walls.
Novi Sad
Walking through the oldest streets of Novi Sad, admiring magnificent baroque, classical, Neo-gothic buildings and colorful facades. You will fall in love with its grace atmosphere and its inhabitants who, even in this era of fast communications, have preserved the tranquility and natural kindness. Imagine how they persuaded Empress Maria Theresa to sell them a city for 80000 Hungarian forints! And since then it was the cultural center of the Serbians for a long time, still called ”Serbian Athens”. Pause for traditional lunch is planned around 1 pm (own expense).

Milos was an excellent tour guide and a wealth of history and knowledge. Very interesting tour! There is more to Serbia than Belgrade, and this gives you a glimpse of it! The cat at the winery is so friendly! Very nice surprise to find lavender gelato in old Novi Sad!

The very friendly and knowledgeable guide took us from Belgrade and one interesting place to another in a comfortable car, ending up in Novi Sad. He always had an interesting story and details. Definitely worth the time and money!

I recommend this travel agency definitely. I was traveling alone and they offered me custom private tours to visit beautiful monasteries in Serbia, which interested me mostly. With a very good price and professional guides who inform you a lot about Serbian history. I am completely satisfied and thankful to them for their service.

I used the transfer in and out and private tour for two days both in Belgrade and to visit the surroundings of the city. The guide who accompanied us on both days, Nevena, was incredible, very knowledgeable about the history and an excellent person. Milos who made the transfer and guided us around the surroundings was very friendly and the vehicle was of excellent quality. They were super punctual and gave great tips on bars, restaurants, shopping...

I apologize first because I do not recall our tour guide's name, but if it is any consolation prize, I am still thinking about this tour enough to write this review a few weeks later. Prior to our visit to Serbia, I wasn't sure what to visit at first. A few Reddit threads I saw mentioned Novi Sad so we booked this tour because it sounded interesting. And it sure was, I felt by the end I knew a foundational about of Serbian history. As someone who loves history, this was important to me. I've worked as a tour guide in the past at museums and historic sites, and was genuinely amazed by our tour guide. The in-depth information he shared with us from start to finish was perfect. While Novi Sad and the monastery were the two main highlights that interested me, my favorite part ended up being the wine tasting. This is saying a lot because I am not a wine drinker. It was a great moment that we shared with everyone in our tour while learning a little bit about regional agriculture as we drank local wine and ate local cheese. It was also fantastic walking around Novi Sad on our own and with a mini tour. I do not believe it would've been the same if I visited without a guide. Our guide made sure we had an understanding of the impact of the Austro-Hungarian Empire on Serbia, which you could see built into the architecture of this city.

Tour operator was punctual and efficient. She came well prepared with umbrellas and spoke the most impeccable English. We were delighted to be the only two people on the tour so it turned into a very informal yet informative day which was tailored to our needs. Natasa took us to a real variety of locations and a great restaurant whilst introducing us to the best local food and drink. The day was exactly what we hoped it would be and as though we had spent the day with a good friend

Tour itself was great and our guide, Stefan, made this tour memorable! He adapted all activities to our interests, and he gave us plenty information about each areas, including historical facts, architectural details and so on. Without Stefan we would miss the only plenty unique areas, wonderful drinks and very tasty traditional Serbian food as well. What a nice guide! Absolutely brilliant day!
