  I would not recommend this tour. Pickup was on time but we waited over half an hour for our driver for the way home. Communication was a mess, we didn’t know where we were getting picked up. Our tour guide walked us back to the office but the driver was at the port. The excursion itself was okay. The communication on crystal bay being open was vague. When I messaged through Viator, the rep said crystal bay was open but the tour guide would let us know if it’s open to tourists or not. Come the day of the tour, our guide said it still wasn’t open due to the landslide, but when we talked to another tour guide at the end of the day, he asked if we enjoyed crystal bay and he mentioned how it was low tide and nice that day, so…it is open??? The Amok restaurant had a nice view with infinity pool but we would’ve preferred crystal bay, especially since our hotel is nice with an infinity pool and a view already. Overall, just okay. We ended up feeling like we wasted an entire day on an average excursion.

  I had a great time touring the West Coast of Nusa Penida Island. The team from Discova Travel, which runs this tour, was really looking after me throughout the whole day's journey. From picking me up & dropping me off from/to my Sanur hotel on time; to getting on/off the fastboat, to the car journey around the island. Sana, our tour guide was so informative & helpful with everything, including going above & beyond in helpinf a solo traveller like me ro take the best photos at the tourist attractions. My only regret was not carrying enough Rupiah with me to tip the guide at the end of the day. Thank you Sana, July & Discova Travel team.

  We enjoyed the sightseeing- the host and driver were nice but no pick up or return from hotel. There was no swimming or snorkelling at Crystal beach due to sharp dead corals and rocks before going into the water and no snorkelling available even though advertised! Not enjoyable for a swimming beach as too rough. Not recommended.

  This was a good trip, and our guide and drivers were phenomenal. It's a trip worth more stars, but not ideal for families with small kids. There was more driving than expected. It was tough to explain to the kids that we had to get back in the car again and again and couldn't just stay in one spot longer. The stops were beautiful, but again, for the kids, it was just another rock with a steep cliff that made us nervous. Each stop was filled with people posing for their best Instagram shot. Super frustrating having to wait five minutes for one person to get their picture taken so we could get a family photo. The highlight of the trip was the beach stop at Crystal Bay. It was windy and the waves were really big the day we went, so we didn't snorkel, but the kids had the best time playing tag with the waves. If we had skipped the Instagram stops, and spent the entire day at the beach, this would have been a five star trip. We simply didn't realize how much time would be spent driving.

  Wira my tour guide was SO NICE!! Definitely exceeded my expectations... He went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable!
