• Deeply Unpleasant, Unprofessional Experience and Unsafe boat

  We had a horrible and upsetting experience on the Ocean Sky dinner cruise. The cruise was overcrowded, poorly organized, and felt unsafe from the start. No life jackets were visible, boarding was chaotic with guests pushing, and the "cruise" was misleading—the main vessel is stationary (you take a small boat to it). The food was average, the entertainment felt forced, and the overall atmosphere was far from the pleasant evening we expected. Most distressingly, during the photo session, several performers surrounded our family and behaved inappropriately, including groping and harassment, before aggressively demanding tips. Their conduct crossed all boundaries and made us extremely uncomfortable. When we asked them to stop, the response was dismissive and unprofessional. What should have been a fun family outing turned into a distressing situation. As frequent visitors to Thailand, we chose this cruise expecting harmless, family-friendly fun. Instead, we encountered a complete lack of professionalism and respect for guests’ safety and dignity. The management's failure to control staff or enforce basic conduct standards is unacceptable. In an era where safety and respect are paramount, this experience was deeply disappointing. We urge management to retrain staff and implement clear safety and behavior policies immediately. Until then, we strongly advise avoiding this cruise, especially for families.

• Fun time even without much of a harbor cruise

  The bay cruise wasn't part of the dinner and show. I was put on a transport boat first, that took me out to the larger cruise ship where it was parked, and after dinner I came back to the pier on the same kind of people mover boat. The dinner was a huge buffet, and had a little something for everyone to enjoy. The entertainment was more like a fashion show I thought. All of the girls were gorgeous and the male dancers were in great shape!

  I am a Westerner and took my two personal assistants to Thailand for a 100th birthday. One of my assistants is Thai, so I arranged for the family of the Thai assistant to join us for the Ocean Skye Pattaya Dinner "Cruise". There was, of course, no cruise, as the "ship" is stationery. I did not find that a problem. The food and the service were excellent. The cabaret show was of a good standard, but it was for far too short a time. My evening was ruined by having to watch heaps and heaps of people paying for the cabaret performers to lift them up in a chair and to take a photo with a required tip, It was completely over the top and a waste of time for those who had wanted good food and a good cabaret show of a decent length. Regretably, the "cruise" is really designed for a clientele other than persons such as myself. I was so disappointed when the cabaret show ended prematurely and all my entourage wanted to do was to go to the top deck for a view and to take pictures, albeit it in full hearing of the squealing and laughter of other passengers who were happy for no more stage show - instead, an hour of the "entertainment" of having a paid picture with cabaret staff.

  Misleading Experience Not a real cruise – the ship never sails. Just a static setup with tables, buffet food, and a short show. Staff don’t explain properly, and later performers push you for paid photos. Skip this and go to a rooftop bar instead.

  Well organised, and as one of the few westerners on board we were very well looked after. The food was great and the staff were excellent. Heaps of good photos and great views of the city. The cabaret show was entertaining as well.

  It was amazing and my friend and I loved it. Didn't have much options for those who don't eat sea food. The dancers were all amazing and very entertaining. We were disappointed that we didn't sail and cruise around the ocean. We thought we would have.

  Room temperature food, minimal view, passable cabaret, lots of rude tourists. Pros: - Boat staff were attentive and friendly. Very good service! - It was on the water. Who doesn't want to eat on the water? - Cabaret was mercifully short and had some decent costumes and choreography. Cons: - Expensive, especially considering the quality of the overall experience. - Food selection was barely passable. - Hot food wasn't. It was all room temperature. - Cold food wasn't. It was also room temperature. - Boat is stationary, moored in the bay, so no "cruising" as advertised. - Performers pester you to take a photo after the show, for 100 baht charge. - Primarily visited by Chinese tourists. Nothing against Chinese, but they are woefully inconsiderate in groups: literally shoving us aside to get to the food, standing in front of us to get a video of the cabaret so we couldn't see, shoving my wife's chair aside (with her in it) rather than waiting for the waiter to move, etc. - We chose this package because the ads made it look more professional and less touristy than other comparable offerings. It appears in the end to be the same boat, the same food, the same show as packages sold for a little less. Full disclosure: It was a rainy night, so we ate indoors. Maybe the view from the upper deck would have improved the overall experience, but I doubt it. Summary: Leave the dinner cruise to the tour groups and enjoy something else.

  Had an amazing evening on the Ocean Sky Pattaya Dinner Cruise! The sunset view was stunning, food was delicious, and the live music set the perfect mood. Super relaxing and fun atmosphere.
