What To Expect

Start by getting used to the water temperature ↓ ④ 10:00 / 14:00 – Jump into the waterfall basin or feel the power of the falls up close! ↓ ⑤ 11:00 / 15:00 – Activity ends! Head to a scenic viewpoint ↓ ⑥ 11:30 / 15:30 – Drop-off at Uehara Port or your accommodation ※ The schedule may vary depending on weather, tide conditions, and other factors. Important Information for Tour Participants Please read carefully to ensure a safe and comfortable experience. Punctuality & Advance Notice Please make sure to arrive on time. If you are late or do not show up without prior notice, it may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees may apply. If you expect to be late, please contact us in advance. Final Confirmation We will contact you by the day before the tour with the meeting time and location details via your registered phone number or email. Please ensure your contact information is reachable within Japan. If you do not receive any communication by 6:00 PM on the day before, please contact "IRIOMOTE ADVENTURE PiPi" using the method listed on your ticket. Hotel Pick-up If you request pick-up from a hotel on Iriomote Island, your meeting time may differ from the displayed time. To confirm the exact meeting time, please contact us the day before the tour using the method indicated on your ticket. Participation Requirements Eligible age: 6 to 59 years old Pregnant individuals, children under 6, and those with medical conditions cannot participate. If you have any concerns, please consult with us in advance. For Those Who Are Anxious If you’re concerned about physical strength or have a fear of the ocean or rivers, please feel free to consult with us in advance. Equipment & Safety For water-based activities, wearing a life jacket and helmet is mandatory. If you are unable or unwilling to wear the required safety equipment, you will not be permitted to join. Please follow the guide’s instructions at all times to ensure safety. Weather Conditions The tour will generally go ahead even in the rain. However, it may be canceled if the field is deemed unsafe. Clothing & Preparation Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting wet. There are no toilets at the activity site, so please use the restroom beforehand. Participation under the influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited. Shower Facilities Showers are available at our office. Please bring a change of clothes and a towel. Note: You may be denied boarding the ferry if you are still wearing wet clothing. Languages Tours are conducted in Japanese or English. Please note that depending on the reservation situation, the tour may be conducted in Japanese only.

1.00The Tiquets platform that sells tickets to the Pena Palace in Sintra, manages it fatal. Mark the day and time as available and accept payment, but within half an hour cancel it citing a technical problem. I contacted via chat twice: once they suggested the time change and promised to fix the technical problem in 48 hours. The schedule change didn’t work and more than a week later it was business as usual. Total: 6 orders canceled with several times to find out that day is not available. Cheap apologies and that's it. Fatal management.

5.00Great thrilling experience for young and old. Kengo was very helpful at guiding us, especially our daughter who was initially scared but was able to eventually do all the jumps. One logistical challenge for those doing a day trip from ishigaki during the colder months is that the ferry to uehara port (the pick up point) is very frequently canceled. The schedule to ohara port is limiting as it is 50 minutes by car between the ports.

5.00A very enjoyable activity, but I recommend that you go at high tide for the full experience. The canoes are good quality and it’s safe to bring children. Our local guide Kono was very sympathetic and spoke English well since he has been living in England. He also provided many good tips for good restaurants, places to buy sweet pineapples and more.

5.00I joined a half day canyoning course in the afternoon! I had Koma-chan and Nana-chan take me with them. He told me about Iriomote Island without getting bored along the way, showed me his lizards and kept me company for a chat. We arrived at the river and had a really good time, diving, sliding and being hit by waterfalls! If you want to canoe or sup, a one-day course might be good, but I've done mangrove sup before, so I was satisfied with the half-day canyoning and thought it was reasonable! They also took a lot of photos and it was a great memory!

5.00We had a great experience with Tomochin as our guide. He made sure we knew how to jump safely and pointed out cool things along the trail. The water was refreshing and the scenery was great. They also provided us with great video clips of us jumping. I only wish we had brought a waterproof camera to capture other beautiful scenery along the way

5.00Everything about the splash canyoning tour was amazing. The convenience of being picked up at the port, having the equipment provided, the beautiful scenery of the canyon, and the fun of jumping, swimming and climbing through it. The tour guides were also super friendly and nice, I had Naoto and he was great.
