What To Expect
【Sample Tour Schedule – On the Day of the Tour】 ① 9:00 – Pick-up at Uehara Port or your accommodation (Uehara area only) ↓ ② 9:20 – Arrive at the field ↓ ③ 9:30 – First activity begins ↓ ④ 11:00 – First activity ends ↓ ⑤ 11:30 – Lunch break! You will be taken to an area where you can enjoy lunch freely. ↓ ⑥ 13:00 – Break ends. Head to the next field ↓ ⑦ 13:20 – Arrive at the field ↓ ⑧ 13:30 – Second activity begins ↓ ⑨ 15:00 – Second activity ends ↓ ⑩ 15:30 – Drop-off at Uehara Port or your accommodation ※ The schedule may vary depending on weather, tide conditions, and number of participants. Important Information for Tour Participants Please read carefully to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Punctuality & Advance Notice Please arrive on time. If you are late or do not show up without prior notice, it may be treated as a cancellation, and cancellation fees may apply. If you are going to be late, please contact us in advance. Final Confirmation We will contact you by the day before the tour with details such as meeting time and location via your registered phone number or email. Please ensure that your contact information is reachable within Japan. If you do not receive any communication by 6:00 PM on the day before the tour, please contact “IRIOMOTE ADVENTURE PiPi” using the method listed on your ticket. Hotel Pick-up If you request hotel pick-up on Iriomote Island, your meeting time may differ from the one shown. To receive the correct meeting time, please make sure to contact us the day before the tour using the method on your ticket. Participation Requirements SUP: Ages 12–59 Canoe: Ages 3–65 Pregnant individuals, children under 3 years old, and those with pre-existing medical conditions cannot participate. Please consult with us in advance if you have any concerns. For Those Who Are Anxious If you’re worried about your physical fitness or have fears related to the ocean or rivers, please consult with us before participating. Equipment & Safety Wearing a life jacket is mandatory for water-based activities. If you are unwilling to wear the required safety gear, we regret that you will not be allowed to join. For your safety, always follow the guide’s instructions. Weather Conditions The tour will proceed even in rainy weather. However, it may be canceled if the field is deemed unsafe. Clothing & Preparation Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting wet. There are no toilets at the activity sites, so please use the restroom in advance. Participation under the influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited. Shower Facilities Showers are available at our office. Please bring a change of clothes and a towel. You may be denied boarding the ferry if you are still wearing wet clothing. Languages Tours are conducted in Japanese or English. Please note that depending on the reservation situation, the tour may be conducted in Japanese only. Thank you for your understanding.

5.00We explored Yufu Island in the morning and the mangroves by canoe in the afternoon on this full-day tour of Iriomote Island! Iriomote Island ▶︎ Yufu Island is crossed by sea in a car pulled by a buffalo. On the way, the shamisen and folk songs of the person who is maneuvered were also impressive ^^ On the mangrove tour in the afternoon, we canoed down and into the mangroves wearing canoes on the shore nearby, partly because it was low tide. It was amazing to see the city, beautiful scenery and Aurora in my own eyes and I really enjoyed it. Thank you so much for the support and photos of our guide, Miharu-chan, who smiled throughout the tour!

5.00I was a little worried about the rain forecast, but I was very happy with the way it went. On Yufu Island, I was rocked by a buffalo car as I slowly crossed the island and was healed by the time that flowed slowly. A luxurious moment to forget about everyday life, surrounded by tropical plants and quiet air. The mangrove tour that followed was great. As I listened to Yume-san, our guide, explain to me, it was very interesting to feel not just the scenery but the structure and strength of nature. A special experience that can only be found here. I'm just so happy that I was able to enjoy it safely because I was worried about the weather. It was a lovely time to come back.

5.00A mangrove canoe that you have been longing for. The cute little guy with a smile on his face guided us deep into the mangrove forest, taking into account the tide, wind and river flow♡ It was a very fulfilling time! She is very open-minded and talks about the charms of Iriomote Island, and she would love to come back with her husband. Now I want to stay in Iriomote Island and join other tours. Thank you for taking so many photos too.

5.00This was my first solo trip. I participated in the Iriomote mangrove canoe and buffalo wheel tour in charge of Ok-kun. It was interesting to learn so much about the island. The participants around us were kind, and we enjoyed it solo!

5.00It was a very fulfilling tour where I could casually enjoy the nature of Iriomote Island. It was a good experience with Yufushima sightseeing and mangrove activities included. Yume-chan, our guide in particular, was very cheerful and attentive, and the explanation was easy to understand and I enjoyed it alone.

4.00Sightseeing the beautiful mangroves on canoe is a memorable experience. Our professional instructor Ryoma took good care of our safety during the tour and shared good photos with us afterwards. In the afternoon, we went to Yufu. Riding on water buffalo cart with the music of shamisen to the island is unique experience.

5.00I went canoeing in Iriomote Island! My sister and I in our 60s are going to try it, but honestly, we're the weight of the game, so I was nervous at first saying, "Is it going to sink?" lol But, hey, it's safe to float and paddle normally. The view going through the mangroves was really beautiful and it felt good to be in the middle of nature. However, even if the wind blows in the second half, we can't move forward at all 😂 Then my guide brother pulled me with a rope and said, "Then I'll try my best." I feel like I've really caused you trouble, but you've saved me so much! There are many other companies on this tour, but I'm glad I made this one. Everyone on the staff treated me with an exceptional smile and was cheerful He took a lot of pictures and talked a lot about it, which was a good memory. There were some tough scenes, but I had a lot of fun including them! Now I want to try the waterfall.
