What To Expect

Okinawa World, located in Nanjo City, is a theme park where you can experience the natural beauty and culture of Okinawa. Its main attraction is Gyokusendo, one of Japan’s largest limestone caves, showcasing breathtaking natural formations. The recreated traditional village, Kingdom Village, features historic Ryukyu architecture, offering a glimpse into Okinawa’s past. There is also a tropical fruit garden filled with the scents of exotic fruits, and a shop selling Shisa statues—perfect for souvenirs. Additionally, the park includes exhibits on the native Habu snake, providing a unique look into Okinawa’s ecosystem.

Saito was an amazing tour guide. Due to change in the forecast and really hot weather, we made last minute detours during our tour as he gave us options. He spoke good English, took us to beautiful spots to visit that normally tourists do not normally go to, and it made us appreciate how beautiful this island even more. My kids were attentive with him and they really enjoyed being around him... sometimes they complain of boredom in the past. He even tried to cater to places for lunch due to my kids' food allergies. He took us to a local spot to eat and it was perfect. The food selections were amazing. I would highly recommend!

Wuta was an amazing tour guide. We visited many local spots off the beaten path. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of questions. He also took amazing photos of us in all the best spots. A highlight for me was the delicious sweet potato tempura we had for lunch.

Our incredible guide, Wuta, took us to places we never would have discovered on our own! Every stop was a hidden gem, full of local charm and unforgettable views. One of the highlights was an absolutely delicious sashimi and tempura lunch at a spot only locals know about — hands down the best we’ve ever had! This experience was beyond anything we imagined!

Our private tour in Okinawa was outstanding! As first-time visitors traveling with both a teenager and an elderly family member, we weren’t sure how to find activities that suited everyone. Thankfully, our guides were incredibly friendly, attentive, and responsive, making us feel completely at ease. From exploring Okinawa World to enjoying delicious tempura at a local shop and taking in the historic Gushikawa Castle ruins, every stop was thoughtfully planned. Ending the day at a vibrant farmers market was the perfect touch. A fantastic introduction to Okinawa—highly recommended!
